I was going through a list of old songs on my external hard drive and I stumbled upon Fergie’s Glamorous feat. Ludacris. I haven’t listened to that song in years now, but when I heard it, I thought, “This fits very well with one of the pictures of Kris looking sophisticated on a plane while traveling from his hometown, Guangzhou, to Seoul, which was shared just recently by the owner of the pic.”
Please excuse my strange sense of humor. =P Pay attention to the lyrics and imagine if Kris was the one singing the song xD (I wasn’t able to find the censored version -_-)
I bet I’m the only one laughing at this while relating it to the picture of Kris that’s above. xD I told you that I have a strange sense of humor…hahaha. Nobody at home understands my K-Pop-related jokes, anyways =P
Another song that I listened to from the list of songs that I had was Metallica’s King Nothing. The first few lines of the song start with, “Dig for gold, dig for fame, you dig to make your name,” and four minutes into the song the lyrics are, “I wish I may, I wish I might. Have this wish I wish tonight. I want that star, I want it now. I want it all and I don’t care how…Careful what you wish…” I suddenly remembered the screenshot of Dui Zhang‘s pic. of him standing on Andy Garcia’s star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame with the caption, “Hollywood i will have my name there one day. Wait for me”. =P The song is about greed, though, and how people don’t appreciate what they have…just like kings or leaders (politicians, CEO’s, etc.) that rise to power for selfish reasons, but eventually have their downfall and become “King Nothing”.

Furthermore, did you know that the word “glamor” originally meant “spell” or “enchantment”? It’s not difficult to figure that out as that is what the entertainment industry thrives on…alluring and enchanting people…be it the celebrities themselves or even the fans.
My dad once stated that the people in control of the entertainment industry cause confusion for both celebrities and fans, and he’s right. I would be dishonest if I didn’t say that I haven’t fallen into confusion because of something that started off as a ‘magical’ or ‘enchanting’ feel from watching a music video or listening to a song.
There are many fans that get confused about how far they should even go to show their support for their favorite celebrity. Celebrities are also confused, but mainly by the sudden fame and privileges they get that regular people don’t. Not to mention, there’s the issue of trust…you don’t know who genuinely wants to befriend you. Amidst this confusion, there’s a man-made wall between celebrities and fans. Sometimes you wonder where this man-made wall came from…was it really us or them? It’s definitely humans that have made that wall because God certainly isn’t responsible for it. What can I say? Life is meant to be simple, but we make it complicated – very, very, very complicated.
By the way, I don’t have a problem with Kris wanting to achieve his dream of having his name on a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame…as long as he is true to himself and doesn’t let people try to control him with money and false promises of fame and other temporary gains over spiritual gains. I feel that he would break really easily if he did give in, and as a “mei ge ni”, that would be too painful to watch. Look at what has happened to some Hollywood celebrities after they reached their peak of fame. It’s scary and as a fellow human being, nobody deserves to ever face such circumstances. However, I feel like Aunty Wu is a very strong support for Kris and will not let anything like that happen. She seems like a wise woman from the message that Kris had shared on his RenRen last year. When I read the message, I thought, “That sounds like something my mum would say…” xD

As for Metallica, I had completely forgotten about some of their songs, which surprised me because I used to place some of the lyrics of Metallica’s songs as my status on MSN. I was a huge fan of Metallica back in high school and I really loved how powerful and deep the lyrics in their songs were. Most people would assume that heavy-metal bands are all about noise, but this is not true, particularly when it comes to 80′s heavy-metal bands. If one were to look carefully into the lyrics of their songs, one would be able to grasp the meaning or message. I, myself, pay a lot of attention to the lyrics of a song. So, Dui Zhang…if you ever write lyrics for a song, I will be analyzing them =P
Other than that, I’m glad that I don’t listen to a lot of music anymore, otherwise I would be making several references to songs =P I have a lot of songs on my external hard disk, including psychedelic trance music, such as Cities of the Future by Infected Mushroom (I didn’t even know they were an Israeli group until recently o_O), but I think that most of the songs are pretty useless now. Besides, music can alter people’s mood and sometimes that’s not a good thing. I’ve studied a bit about the psychological elements of music and how music waves are created to alter brain waves. That’s how people get a “feel-good” factor when listening to techno or dance music. Interestingly, I found an article that was published last month about new micro headphones that can scan brainwaves to match songs to your mood (click here to read).
Did you also know that our subconscious mind can record a song that we’re listening to? A song that I had only listened to once was played in one of my dreams, and the lyrics that I heard in the dream were EXACTLY the same as the lyrics in real life. I was shocked. It meant that my subconscious mind was recording the song while I was listening to it. People should be careful because songs can have messages in them when played backwards as well, and our conscious mind wouldn’t be able to decipher them but our subconscious mind would be able to pick them up easily.

I still believe that EXO‘s MAMA has a deeper and darker meaning and it’s not just about how people in society have become distant due to technology. There are some fans that don’t believe that the song has anything to do with the occult, but it does, as seen in the song’s music video. From the opening of the scene where the full moon is visible, to the robes that are worn, to the Gregorian chants and the members falling down on their knees and praising “MAMA” aka “Her Highness”, which is praising someone other than God, is questionable. Not to mention, I know some people, including my friends, that felt uncomfortable when listening to some parts of the song. I felt really weird when I first heard the song as well and it definitely wasn’t a good feeling (I liked the guitar part in the song, though). Even ’til this day, some of my friends and I avoid listening to MAMA. If that’s not enough to make a valid point, there was an image (click here to see) of a pyramid and fire in the background when all 12 members of EXO performed on stage for Happy Camp last year…it can’t get any more obvious than that =P
So far, my favorite song from EXO is What Is Love. Angel would have been nice if it didn’t include a reference to the archangel Michael and stating how much more beautiful a human being is compared him. The music in the song is beautiful, but it’s just a shame that the lyrics included such a correlation. I don’t know what the person had in mind when writing the lyrics.
Remember in my previous post on EXO where I stated that some of the members of EXO have worn clothes with occult symbols on them? I stumbled across a post about the members of EXO doing “Illuminati-like” hand gestures to hint at their comeback (click here to see). Some people believe that the hand gesture represents a wolf. I don’t know if it’s meant to be connected to their song, Wolf, which was leaked in March, but the members of EXO have been doing his hand gesture quite frequently these days.
One individual posted, “Illuminati?”, under the post on the hand gesture, and there were fans that didn’t believe that EXO or their company could be part of it when there is so much evidence about K-Pop being infiltrated by the Illuminati already. The person that believed that the hand gesture is linked with the Illuminati hand symbol is somebody that personally knows people that have written songs for SHINee (I don’t know whether it’s true or not). I had left a comment under the post and he replied to it. The information that he provided in his response was nothing new to me, but definitely enlightening for those that are not aware.

I guess everything is done in a very “controlled” environment, and that’s evident in the world of K-Pop where very few celebrities are able to freely express their musical capabilities or even themselves…the rest is carefully planned. It’s like putting your life in someone else’s hands other than God’s hands. It makes me sad =(
Sometimes I wonder if being a fan is right if this is what entertainment companies are all about and if this is what people have to go through to achieve fame. We, too, are also to be blamed as we are the ones, as fans, that “demand”, and entertainment companies are the ones that “supply”. It’s something to think about.

Dui Zhang Kris‘ shocked expression on China Love Big Song
There are some habits/traits of Kris that I notice, but I don’t necessarily talk about them, because I feel like my blog would be flooded with posts on him then (not that Kris fans mind, right?). =P
One trait of Kris is that he gets shocked too easily. xD I’ve seen this in a few interviews and variety shows. His eyes go really wide and sometimes his mouth is left hanging open in disbelief. Dui Zhang, why so serious? ^^’
Lulu‘s expression in the background of the above pic. is epic! No matter what kind of derp faces Lulu makes, he still looks cute. Apart from that, I remember what happened in the first pic. Dui Zhang was unable to guess that Chen Chen, who was bending down on one knee, was proposing with a ring during a game of charades. I can’t believe Dui Zhang couldn’t figure out what was going on. His members were in fits of laughter too. Dui Zhang, haven’t you seen how a proposal looks like in movies? =P

I can’t remember what exactly happened in the pic. of Dui Zhang on Happy Camp, but I’m guessing that it was during a game in which the members of EXO had to make sure that the metal rod in their hands didn’t touch the metal bars of the metal “maze”. If the metal rod had touched the metal bars, then sparks would have ignited from it. Dui Zhang looked tense while watching his members play the game and was completely calm during his own turn. I remember him ending the game like a boss
Dui Zhang Kris‘ shocked expression at K-CON
Dui Zhang had many shocked expressions at K-CON. There was a moment in which he was caught by the cameraman and his expression was just like the one in the pic. above. It only lasted for one second.
One of the most memorable moments of Dui Zhang at K-CON, however, was the expression that he made when the spokesperson made a mistake by referring EXO-M as EXO-K. Dui Zhang‘s eyes widened and he gave an electrical-like threatening glance.
Having said that, Dui Zhang‘s almond-shaped eyes are very expressive. They may look calm and shiny like a teddy-bear’s (or a koala bear’s, since that’s his nickname =P), but they can also look intimidating like his power symbol – the dragon.
Perhaps there should be a “Handle with Care” sign for Dui Zhang. If treated nicely, then he will look huggable, warm, and cute like a koala bear…if mistreated, then he will turn into a cold, scary, and intimidating dragon =P Is that you, Dui Zhang?
P.S. Why do I have this feeling that Dui Zhang would do the opposite of something just to tease somebody? =P

EXO‘s Kris appears in a question on a 6th grade Chinese student’s English midterm exam

Today, a photo of a 6th grade Chinese student’s English midterm exam caught the interest of EXO fans. Kris appeared in one of the questions on the exam, as seen in the above photo.
It seems that the teacher, who had prepared this exam, is a fan of Kris. Now, if only I had a teacher that was a fan of someone I knew, then taking midterm exams like this one would have been fun! An easy A+ =P However, my days of studying are over, so that’s completely out of the question. ^^’
Some of the sentences about Kris in the midterm exam caught my attention. “Kris doesn’t like to talk to many people,” “He likes to read books in a quiet place,” “He usually goes to the movies on the weekend,” (Dui Zhang, do you usually go to the movies on the weekend? =P), “He usually gets up at 8:00 am,” “He leaves home at 8:30,” “He thinks there are too many cars and buses on the road, so he takes the subway to work.” This information is fiction. However, Kris may like reading books in a quiet place. It’s a lot easier to read in a peaceful surrounding. ^^

Dui Zhang Kris‘ Airport Fashion on March 13th, 2013
I have three words. LAUGH OUT LOUD…..
My reaction when I logged into Tumblr today and saw Dui Zhang Kris‘ airport fashion xD
Seeing Dui Zhang Kris’ airport fashion today confirms that he is really from EXO Planet ‘cause I’ve never seen anyone on Earth dress like that before
I’m trying to figure out Dui Zhang‘s style as I type this. His outfit consists of a skull printed over shirt, polka dot harem pants, a fedora hat (according to some fans, it looks like the sorting hat from Harry Potter), white shoes, and…a man clutch (hahahaha!) His whole outfit is a combination of black and white, the colors that I was thinking about yesterday night…strangely.
I’m still confused as to how I should even name this style…is it a cross between a gangster gardener, farmer, and scarecrow or simply the gangster version of Indiana Jones or Indiana Jones meets pirates? Whatever it is, I think I’ll just call Dui Zhang Indiana Kris for today.
Maybe Kris got his inspiration from this?

Or perhaps Kris is just trying to indicate that he can be a great cosplayer like Shamo, the look-a-like of Kris (see post)? =P If Kris was cosplaying in Japan or attending a Halloween party, I would have understood. Personally, I think Kris would make a great cosplayer for an anime/manga or video game character. Does anyone else agree?

I’ve figured that maybe this must be Kris‘ way of bringing “joy and happiness” to his fans ’cause I have been laughing every now and then while looking at his airport pics. today. In fact, my mum had no idea why I had been having mini laugh attacks during the day until recently. She tried to control her laugh and said, “leave him alone.” xD
There is absolutely no possible explanation for Kris‘ outfit at the moment…just questions: Was it the stylists that chose this outfit? Was it Kris‘ own choice? Did his fellow members have a bet, which he ended up losing, and had to to wear such an outfit as a result? The last question may explain Kris‘ not-so-amused expression at Sehun-ah‘s birthday party yesterday (see pic.).
Whatever the reason, Kris looks very comfortable and serious while walking around in that outfit. I don’t know how his fellow members can keep a straight face when seeing him wear that. Hahahaha! Maybe Kris really wants to demonstrate that he is a good candidate for being a model and is ready to wear whatever the designers tell him to. After all, he has the poise, confidence, and walk of a model no matter what he wears.
I’ve also realized that sometimes we question current K-Pop boy wearing tight pants in comparison to K-Pop boy groups of the 90′s, but I never imagined that one of the members of a K-Pop group would wear something completely loose like those harem pants=P

Anyhow, Kris still has a cute face that shines, regardless of the kind of outfit he wears ^^ At least he’s not missing-in-action and is with his 11 brothers again. Also, he is speaking up more. For instance, at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, he told the security guards, “Do not touch them,” ‘them’ being the fans. We are all aware that it gets really crowded at airports when EXO is around and sometimes a lot of unnecessary trouble occurs.
On a funny note, this fan account indicates what happens when all members of EXO are present at airports in China in comparison to one member, such as Kris:

Even if we have to see Kris wear funny outfits, it’s nice to have him back! ^^

EXO celebrating their one year anniversary
Today, April 8th, 2013 marks the one year anniversary of EXO‘s debut.
It’s hard to believe that one year has already passed by, but what more can I say? Time flies…and it’s going to fly by even faster as the years roll on. It’s moments like these that I remember one of my favorite quotes from Final Fantasy VIII:
Reflect on your childhood, your sensation, your words, your emotions. Time, it will not wait… No matter how hard you hold on…it escapes you.

Overall, it has been an interesting year. I, myself, have learned quite a bit by being a fan of EXO and I’m sure that the members (Kris, Lay, Luhan, Tao, Chen, Xiumin, Suho, Kai, Chanyeol, D.O., Baekhyun, and Sehun), themselves, have learned something along the way after debuting too.
More importantly, we should all be very thankful to God for keeping us alive and healthy ’til this date, so that we get to witness many more blessings that have yet to come, iA. Of course, there will always be ups and downs and unexpected things in everyone’s life, but we’ve made it this far and we shouldn’t give up. Stay strong!
I really like EXO, but I really like other groups as well. =P (I’m copying my 5-year-old nephew/cousin’s son when he said, “I really like you,” to make the other person sound very special, and then stated, “but I really like other people as well.” It sounded more funny in Urdu xD).
I haven’t seen EXO in person yet, especially Dui Zhang Kris, and I hope that I do get the chance to soon, iA. ^^ As for the time being, best of luck to EXO and for their upcoming comeback. We are waiting…

Update: Kris and the rest of the members of EXO were online in the evening yesterday. They were replying to messages on the official EXO fanboard. I was online at the same time using my iPhone, but I didn’t bother going to EXO‘s fanboard because I’ve tried accessing their official site the last two times Kris was online, and the site was too slow =P It’s funny how I’m online whenever Kris replies to fanboard messages, but I never get the chance to send any message. It is not fate. Kekeke!

I read Kris‘ replies. Oh my God…the cheesiness continues. Chanyeol tried typing in English that he is fine, but his sentence turned out, “I’m find thank you and you?” A fan then typed, “Kris please teach Chanyeol English,” and, “he write ‘im find thank you, and you.’ in the fanboard before. F-I-N-D.” Kris replied, “Maybe he actually means he wants to find you, because he miss you…… I guess o_O he he he.”
Other cheesiness included Kris stating, “I’m always in your heart~” Kris and his heartuuu. Not to mention, his emoticons, “=D”, “o_O”, and “<3″ A fan even jokingly stated that Kris is so tall and that she is scared of him (it’s okay, I understand…I’m also scared of tall people like Kris. =P Just kidding!) and Kris replied, “Laugh out loud….” Not “LOL”, but, “Laugh out loud….” Hahahahaha!
I think the sweetest message was one by a fan that mentioned, “I’m not a dragon I cannot fly but I have a heart that loves a dragon!!!!!!” and Kris replied, “<3″. Oh, the cheesiness! How to win Kris‘ heart… Rule 1. Be cheesy. He will turn into a giant marshmallow after that. Too bad I’m not good at being cheesy. Bwhahahahaha!

EXO‘s Krisuigi

The first thing that came to fans’ mind when seeing Kris in a denim jumpsuit is Plumber Kris. Love it or hate it, but the denim jumpsuit that Kris wore on March 29th, 2013, while traveling from South Korea to Thailaind, made him look like Luigi from the Super Mario video game series. All that he needed was perhaps his outfit to look more like overalls/dungarees, a green shirt underneath it, a green cap, and a mustache.

Kris was even nicknamed Krisario, because he reminded fans of Mario. I, however, thought that Kris looked more like Mario’s twin brother, Luigi. Luigi is tall and lean just like Kris.
Although there is an edited pic. of Kris as Krisario, I would have edited Kris as Krisuigi if I had time on my hands. xD The similarity between Kris and Mario, though, is that they both love doing the peace sign.
Speaking of denim, Kris was known as “Cowboy-Ge”/”Denim-Oppa” before debuting because of the famous fancam. of him wearing a denim jacket and crossing a street with Tao. Now, imagine if Kris had the hairstyle that he had in that video while wearing the denim jumpsuit =P

Besides that, what I find really cute about Kris‘ airport pics. is that even after so many months, he still has the brown teddy bear key chain attached to his bag. I feel like I pay more attention to the teddy bear key chain in comparison to him. =P
Overall, Kris‘ denim jumpsuit was a stark difference from his usual airport fashion. The outfit that he wore at the airport before this one made him look like a spy. Remember…Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?/Where in the World is Kris? (see pic.)
I think the colors that suit Kris the most are black, white, and red. Black is a color that is known to be mysterious and sophisticated, white is known as representing purity and innocence, and red is known as symbolizing energy and passion. Silver, one of my favorite colors, on the other hand, is related to the moon in terms of emotions, sensitivity, and mysteriousness. The color, itself, symbolizes reflection, illumination, and calmness. According to this post on the color silver:

I’ve mentioned this before, but black and silver were two colors that I really loved back in high school. I can recall that Kris had worn a silver top during EXO‘s showcase in Seoul, and he looked like a “prince” in shining armor =P He seemed to be sporting the colors black and silver a lot back then (see post EXO’s Kris – Jjang at the Showcase!). I’m going to miss seeing the shirt that had a moon on it that Kris used to wear while performing Two Moons. I can’t believe that it has been one year already!
Now, having spoken about Kris as Krisuigi, there is a well-known Chinese cosplayer in the world of Anime and role-playing video games by the name of Shamo (杀漠) that has caught the attention of Chinese fans of EXO. The reason for this is that fans think that he bears a striking resemblance to Kris, whereas other fans think that he looks like a combination of Kris and Luhan.

Thanks to exo-c-trans.tumblr.com for posting this news (if you are reading this, “Hi!” *waves* She’s a Kris fan and has visited my blog before =P Quite a funny girl too! ^^).
My opinion of Shamo is that he does resemble Kris in the above picture, but I saw his other pictures and he looks different in them. On a random note, my brother has the same look and facial expressions as Shamo in his selcas. There’s one pic. of my brother’s that looks like Shamo’s, since my brother also has his hoodie over his head in it. It would have been nice to share the photo, but I’m reluctant to ’cause I know how fast information spreads on the Internet =P
Anyhow, after seeing Shamo’s pic., I have to say that he is a really good cosplayer. I’m familiar with the “otaku” culture, as I’m a fan of Anime and role-playing video games myself, and I’ve had friends in high school that used to cosplay. I’m really impressed by Shamo’s cosplay of the character, Reno, from Final Fantasy VII. As some of you might know, Final Fantasy happens to be my favorite video games series, and Shamo is the best Reno cosplayer that I’ve seen so far (click here to see)! *thumbs up*
Having said that, I’ve made a collage of Kris resembling some of the characters of Final Fantasy before. One of Kris‘ looks also resembles a character’s from the Kingdom Hearts video game series, but I didn’t get the time to make the comparison. I’ll add it to the post, EXO’s Kris Look-Alikes, in the future, iA.

Yes, that’s an artwork of Kris. It’s extremely well-done! I was scared at first because of his intense glare, but he looks like he could be a character from the Soul Blade/Soul Calibur video game series. I even had a post on the game, Soul Blade (click here to see). As for the artwork, look at the moon and flower petals…a perfect, dreamy, and fantasy-like background for a role-playing or Soul Calibur game.
If only Dui Zhang Kris was a fan of Anime and role-playing video games… Just kidding! xD Kris is cool in his own ways. He’s a baller…remember that! ^^’
Apart from that, I was going to place a collage here of Kris‘ pre-debut pics. that I had found months ago on Tumblr. I had saved it onto my laptop and remember reblogging it on Tumblr too, but I can no longer find it =( The reason for wanting to place the collage here is that it includes two pre-debut pics. that haven’t been seen fully by International fans. In other words, there is no full version of both of those pics., and I’m guessing that Chinese fans might know about it. I’ve been searching for it in the past half-an-hour. Just watch me find it when I’m not looking for it. It always happens! =P
One of the pics. in the collage included a close-up of Kris‘ eye and his jet-black fringe…I thought I was the only one that took pics. of myself like that. Hahahahaha! As for the other pic., it was a very cute one. Kris looks young in it and his hair looks like Shamo’s in the above pic. For all the Kris fans out there…Kris is back (I’m pretty sure that everyone knows that by now =P)!
On March 12th, 2013, a fan that spotted Kris outside having dinner in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China before the day of his flight to Beijing, mentioned that Kris would be flying back to South Korea. As usual, information such as this in the Internet Age aka the Age of “Big Brother is Watching You” spreads globally across all social media networking sites and electronic devices with a wireless connection, and that too at lightning speed. Upon hearing the good news, fans felt inexpressible joy in their hearts and were preparing to either see Kris at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport or sit behind their computer screen and get ready for reblogging the fashionista’s airport pics. on Tumblr.

Hailing from a nation that has a population of over 1.3 billion, it is no surprise that there were a large number of fans that turned up to meet Kris at the airport and bid him farewell. Moreover, on the very same day, Kris‘ appearance at the airport and his soaring popularity had landed his name as the No.1 most searched topic on Weibo, a Chinese social networking site that is equivalent to Twitter.
SM Entertainment…you have done well to crack into the Chinese market by effectively utilizing your carefully-planned out marketing techniques for EXO-M. As for you, Kris…you have done well by being attentive to the emotions of your fans. However, a word of advice…be careful of pleasing people too easily. Yes, it’s a way of bringing joy and happiness for many, but take it from the famous people that have experienced and expressed that pleasing people should never be a top priority. Do not sacrifice your own personal happiness for the sake of others.
Without a doubt, Dui Zhang Kris, an admirable person in the eyes of many, has learned over time, since his debut, on how to win the hearts of fans. A leader, a good communicator, a person that expresses wisdom and empathy, a person that tries to make it clear that he can be himself even as a celebrity, that is none other than Dui Zhang Kris. Should I say more and sound more flattering? =P

The most funny thing was during the whole process, Kris gained a lot of passerby/uncle fans. He sure was pleased of himself. With the black sunglasses and sitting on his seat coolly, the uncles that passed by will stop and come close to take many pictures. Your idol is a good person, when fans wanted his signatures on the plane he gave it to them. After that the situation kind of got out of control when the fans started queuing up to get his signature. The air stewardesses started collecting their notebooks and then returning them back to the fans so as to not affect the flight safety.
When there’s an announcement for meals, Yifan told those fans in the queue “Time to eat, everyone return back to your seats.” I would like to add on that, he looks really shy when he smiles.[T/N: The person who posted this is a passenger on the same flight as Kris from Guangzhou to Beijing. The flight got delayed because the fans following Kris refused to sit down so the guy got a little frustrated. It would have been cool if one of the fans had the guts to sit next to Kris and just chill. xD I would have went and sat in the empty seat next to his, then stare at the white wall in front of me in silence and with a straight face for a few minutes. After that I would scare Kris by turning my head towards him immediately with a clown-like grin, and just stare at him like that for a couple of minutes. Just kidding! (A big sporty guy sitting next to my desk did that in class, which was an Accounting II class, back in my previous university just to get a reaction out of me. It was pretty hilarious! I tried really hard not to laugh so that I wouldn’t get in trouble by the professor).

Basically, the airlines that Kris was flying on had sent his luggage to Qingdao by mistake. This is why one should make sure to always carefully check the details on the sticky tag that is placed on the luggage while checking-in.

Now, moving onto the highlights of Dui Zhang flying from Beijing Capital International Airport to Incheon International Airport on March 14th, 2013…
A fan had given Kris Ferrero Rocher chocolates for White Day (have I ever mentioned that Forrero Rocher, Lindt, and Patchi chocolates are my favorite?). White Day is a day celebrated in East Asia on March 14th, which is a month after Valentine’s Day. On this day, the guys give gifts, such as chocolates, to their loved ones. Kris, being the “heartwarming” person that he is =P, opened the case of Ferrero Rocher chocolates and handed some out to the fans. Me want one too!
[FAN ACCOUNT] A fan that went to send Kris almost tripped and fell into Kris’s arms. She couldn’t squeeze her way out of the crowd so she went behind Kris and followed him into the departure hall. Anyhow, remember when I once said that Kris is like three different people? It suddenly occurred to me that perhaps…on this trip Kris really was three different people. By that, I mean…
It was Wu Yi Fan that traveled back home to Guangzhou in China. It was Kevin that traveled back to Canada. Now, it’s Kris that has finally flown back to South Korea, reassuring his fans that, “I’m waiting because I can’t be without you” (this was written in an autograph that he gave to a fan while traveling).
Yah…what’s the point of saying these words? You will be breaking a lot of people’s hearts in the future by saying such things. Save it for someone else! BABO!

I’m actually listening to some songs that I listened to back in high school and feel really overwhelmed by the nostalgia. Okay, that was random, but my thoughts have shifted away from Dui Zhang‘s airport phenomenon right now =P Sometimes I get stuck in the past and sometimes I think too far ahead into the future. I always have to remind myself that I must live in the present.
I still haven’t found the motivation to write the book that I have always wanted to write, and never did I expect to end up writing posts like these instead. Maybe a few years from now when Kris becomes a grandpa, he would stumble on these posts and remember how he used to be xD Just kidding!

I can imagine Kris as a fashionable grandpa xD When I arrived in Sydney last month, I spotted a fashionable elderly lady and man. They were dressed all prim and proper and looked so cute! Ahhh, now I’m really getting carried away. Back to the topic.
I read Lay‘s message to fans for White Day and I must say his expression of love sounds like Kris‘. So, do the guys in SME get training on writing “love letters” to fans? xD

Did anyone spot something interesting in it? No, it’s not the disco dance move that he is doing with his hand…hahaha (I’m just joking about that), it’s the Ferrero Rocher chocolate in his bouquet of flowers. Kris must have given his 11 brothers some of the chocolate that he received. It has been more than a month since Kris has seen his fellow brothers. There must have been a happy reunion with lots of hugs and laughs as soon as Kris got back. ^^

On a random note, you know that StarCall application that’s available on the iPhone? Has anyone noticed that U-KISS is always sending video messages to fans? It looks like they really enjoy using the app. There is a StarCall notice almost everyday and it always turns out to be from them!

There are multiple translations of Kris‘ status update with slight variations. For instance, I have seen the words, “will never leave behind,” as “can’t let go,” and, “to each and every one of you,” as “my every you,” aka “mei ge ni.” I knew about the nickname, “Mei Ge Ni” that Kris‘ fans/friends in China use for themselves, when I went for his birthday gathering here, which was organized by Baidu Wu Yi Fan (Kris) Bar.
Kris‘ good morning message is the most heart-warming good morning message that I’ve ever seen from a public figure. I read it about 10 times or more… I don’t know why I read Kris‘ messages very carefully and slowly, and not to mention, several times. Hahaha! All I know is that, my mood is much better after reading his latest message, because I wasn’t feeling too well in the morning. On top of that, all of my friends are busy on a weekend. I was about to head out alone to the city by bus, because I wanted to go to the bookstore, Kinokuniya, and enjoy the nice weather, until I decided that I should stay back and wait until I feel better.

When I read these words, I suddenly remembered what Muslims, Christians, and everyone in general should be practicing…and that is patience. “Verily man is in loss, except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds, and join together in the mutual enjoining of truth, and of patience and constancy.” (Qur’an – 103:2-3). For those that are patient, for them their rewards are doubled. Sometimes I become very impatient, particularly these days, and this is a good reminder for me!
Furthermore, Kris makes his messages sound so personal and emotional…as if he is directly speaking to each and every one of his friends. He has a way with words. Though, I suddenly remembered the tragic scene from Titanic when I read, “can’t let go,” in his message. xD
Kris misses us, but the reality is that we miss him more!
P.S. I put Kris‘ message as my status update on Facebook, with quotation marks (of course), and my friends and family members that have no idea about EXO or Kris are liking it. =P I guess everyone can connect to Kris‘ lovely message. ^^
