Josialyn once asked me to place 50 facts about myself in my blog, but I’m placing an interview with 50 questions, which Kris has answered, instead =P

After reading this interview…all I can say is, “I dislike him!” (jokingly, of course! =P)

What is this marriage thing Kris speaks of? My parents have set a deadline to find someone or they will get me married off to someone of their choice and I keep saying, “Please extend the deadline,” and planning on trying to convince them not to go ahead with their decision, and here Kris is saying, “OK!” with whatever his parents decide -_- Makes me look like a not-so-filial daughter. Thanks, Kris! =P

As a leader of a group, it is often that the leader has more stress than the rest of the members. Just like Kris, the leader of the popular boyband EXO-M, has been worrying about the group’s comeback to be held at the end of May! Kris not only has to take care of the members’ daily practice sessions, he also has to worry about the promotions, be it small or big! Besides making sure that his work is more than 100% perfect, Kris is also known for being a filial son, he calls his parents almost everyday to tell them how he’s doing, and also wants to buy a big house for them! Not only this, Kris has also given the decision of his marriage plans to his parents, even if his parents want him to marry now, he will agree to it! Capable and filial, where do you find such a perfect person?

Who said that Kris was useless!? Nobody’s useless! Everyone has a purpose in this world. God has told each and every one of us about our purpose. Don’t let others tell you something else! I’ve been called talentless by someone that didn’t even know me at a personal level in the past and have been told that I was going to get an award for being invisible, and that too by a captain of  the varsity basketball team in high school (he used to poke fun at many people), and I proved those two particular individuals wrong. Also, life is not about what you can do for others, it’s more about what you can do to please God and then everything else falls into place, such as helping out with the family, etc. ^^

There’s a full moon today! EXO’s Music Video Teaser for “Wolf” is Released!

Everybody now behold… and be prepared to laugh…

It’s official. EXO‘s title song is Wolf aka Wolf and Beauty (in Korean). Is the Korean title supposed to sound similar to the name, Beauty and the Beast? I don’t know, but that’s what comes to mind when I see it. As soon as I clicked play on the music video teaser for EXO‘s Wolf and saw smoke, I was out of words and had a laugh attack. I don’t know why this made me laugh, but it did to the point that I almost had tears in my eyes. Did anyone else find the music video teaser for Wolf highly amusing to watch? =P

EXO in the house!

Thank God I didn’t make a reaction video ’cause most of it would have included me rolling back and laughing throughout the entire teaser. If my friends were around to watch the teaser with me, I think I would have just rolled off the bed or fallen off the chair from laughter. No joke! I’m a person that is often the first to laugh at anything amusing.

Despite the amusement of watching the teaser, the members of EXO looked like they were really into acting as werewolves, so kudos for the effort! I wonder if any of the members laughed while filming this. xD

It also looks like EXO still have their powers. Does this mean that Kris is going to be a werewolf that can fly over the moon? A flying werewolf aka flying Ben Ben? Who could have ever imagined that!? Maybe Kris is Super Werewolf in disguise.

I do have some questions regarding the concept for Wolf. Since when did EXO transform from EXOtraordinary gentle-aliens to werewolves!? Are they alien werewolves or simply shape-shifting aliens? I still can’t seem to grasp onto how 12 aliens from EXO Planet are able to do that. Is there some part of the story about the Tree of Life that we’re missing out on? o_O Additionally…

EXO To Give Away Their Most Treasured Item To Fans?

I remember mentioning that I imagine Kris to one day give away one of his most special items to a fan, which I had thought would be his denim jacket or one of his necklaces. It turns out that all members of EXO are giving away their most treasured item to fans now. I highly doubt that it’s their most treasured item, but it’s something that’s connected to them in one way or the other.

Whoever is doing the thumbs up with the beanie hat…that’s cute! xD The drumsticks look like they belong to Chanyeol. Cards…Ace of Hearts? Kris, is that you or are you the one doing the victory/peace sign with the bracelet!? The pendant looks like Tao‘s and the leopard printed hat looks like Lay‘s. I really can’t guess which item belongs to whom.

Moreover, is that a skipping rope in the bottom right-hand corner? I need a proper skipping rope. I bought one from a kid’s section two years back and it ended up being too small =P I wouldn’t need the dumbbells. I use my brother’s weights and that too without the weight disks…hahaha. I would faint if I used the weight disks x_x

I’m assuming that only Korean fans can participate in this event. We, international fans…never mind. Which item would you choose if given the chance to participate in the event?

All I have to say is that…even though Ace is not one of the items to be given away, I’m taking Ace, whether Kris likes it or not. One day, iA! =P

I love Lulu‘s expression in the above teaser image that was released today. Lulu is a champion! All the members look great!

Anyhow, I know, I’m late. My mum left two days back, and I have to take care of the apartment now. Cooking and cleaning, you know the drill.

Anyhow, let’s get rolling with the comments… Yesterday, teaser images for each EXO member were released. I was expecting one individual teaser image to be released everyday, but SME surprised us and released all twelve in one day!

In my honest opinion, I’m not digging some of the individual EXO teaser images. There’s something rather plain about them. Here are my thoughts on each of them:

• Kai: His shirt is blending in with the white wall, which makes most of the image look empty. Nevertheless, what caught the attention of netizens is Kai‘s watch. They zoomed in and found out that the date on the watch indicates the date in which EXO had their photo shoot for their individual teaser images, which was March 22nd, 2013. Netizens have a very sharp eye. If only they could solve real-life mysteries or cases in a similar manner, maybe there would be more justice in this world =P
• Suho: Very plain and almost ghost-like. Maybe he should have done a different pose because his left eye is almost covered.
• D.O.: Okay, this one made me laugh! xD I can imagine him saying, “Don’t come anywhere near my Happy Meal or I’ll attack you with this chair.” I really have no idea what’s going on in the pic. I also see a dark reflection of someone on the glass window, which some fans claim to be Kris is in his ahjumma outfit. D.O., may I have some fries please?

• Lay: So delicate. I think one would easily mistake him for a female, since most of his face is not showing. I don’t know what’s going on here either, but the first image that comes to my mind while looking at his pic. is that of a shy bride =P
• Sehun-ah: Shorts are too short. His hair is full of life with that rainbow hair color, but his expression is lifeless.
• Baekhyun: This one is the best! He brings the pic. to life. with his cute expression. His clothes go well with the background, too. It’s like he is selling the clothes.

• Kris: How do I begin? My attention was immediately drawn to the Subway sandwich (I’ll share a story about it below). There should have been a basketball instead of a football and baseball next to Kris. The colors in the image are nice, but maybe Kris should have been eating a Subway chocolate chip cookie instead. =P It would have made the image look more cute. Although Kris looks pretty relaxed, there’s something off about the pose. I mean, who eats while sitting like that? xD
• Chanyeol: There’s something slightly creepy about this image. It’s strange to see a young adult enjoying his food in such a manner =/
• Chen: I like his teaser image. It looks like it’s out of a video game magazine where there is an advertisement of a young dude that enjoys sleeping in, reading his comic books and eating snacks like Doritos. Just add some video games in the background and the picture would be perfect!

• Luhan: Afraid of heights? Doesn’t look like it! =P I feel like Lulu looks like a model for a hip clothing line in his teaser image. The image should have been a little bit more zoomed-in on him.
• Xiumin: Since his teaser image was taken from a far away distance, it doesn’t really look like a teaser image at all. The image would suit a photo book where all the members of EXO are simply chilling or relaxing behind-the-scenes.
• Tao: An advertisement for shoes? The angle of the image could have been better. Apart from that, notice the blood stain on the ground on the left-hand side of the image. Creepy!

In conclusion, my favorite individual teaser images are Baekhyun‘s and Chen‘s. Lulu‘s is nice too.

As for my story about Subway…I have Subway every now and then. Since Subway is not Halal here, I end up ordering the tuna sandwich with honey mustard. I’m okay with it ’cause tuna sandwich with honey mustard is my favorite Subway sandwich, anyways. ^^ Kris would not approve of it since he doesn’t like fish =P However, I’m sure that he would like the chocolate chip cookies from Subway. Those are the best! I’m addicted to them.

In fact, last year, whenever I would walk to class and felt hungry, I would grab a chocolate chip cookie from Subway. Not to mention, the day I walked back from my evening class (it was the day that fans received a StarCall message from Kris and Chen), I bought a Subway sandwich for dinner. After walking back to my apartment, a call from D.O. came. Kekeke! I wrote about it in the post, Kakao and StarCall Update from EXO.

Now that the individual teaser images have been released, what’s next?

Looking at the above pic., can anyone guess whose hand is whose? I’m sure that everyone knows by now =P

The hand with a ring is Kris‘ and the one without a ring is, of course, Tao‘s. A photo of their hand holding onto a basketball court was uploaded onto their Chinese social media site, which they often use, on May 8th 2013…and I thought I was strange for placing a photo of my hand in the post, Quiet Moments in the Dorm…

All EXO fans are aware of the beautiful and brotherly friendship between Kris and Tao, which has earned them the name TaoRis. Well, TaoRis is what we fans refer to them as, but Kris has his own name for their brotherhood and that’s, “KT“.

Their brotherhood is like…Kris Kross. I don’t know why Jump by Kris Kross plays in my head at times when I see Kris‘ gansgta photos as times. Hahaha. Jump was a popular song in the early 90′s by the American duo rap group, Kris Kross. The group was also Ludacris’ inspiration.

 

The song, Jump, is mainly about not underestimating Kris Kross for their talent in hip-hop and rap just because of their age. Maybe KT can rap to this one day =P

Kris is the leader of EXO-M, whereas Tao is the maknae of EXO-M. Both are Chinese, but Kris has trained the longest out all the Chinese members of the group and Tao has trained for the least amount of time. It is no surprise that Tao looks up to Kris as a source of advice.

KT are often seen together during their free time. Since pre-debut and up until now, they’ve been spotted:

Awww, KT moments are so QTeee moments =P

The crazy thing is that I was trying to capture an image of my shadow and was going to place it on my blog a while back and was surprised to have seen the pic. of KT posing with a basketball and capturing an image of their shadow on the ground when Tao had uploaded it on his QQ =P

Imagine if the video capture of KT riding a bike together was taken during their pre-debut days and if fans had seen that moment instead of the moment in the video capture of KT crossing a street together. I think things would have been a lot different then…hahaha! xD Maybe Kris would have been known as the mysterious bike rider instead of the mysterious cow boy. Kekeke!

Another EXO Teaser Image for XOXO (Kiss&Hug)

Another teaser image for EXO‘s XOXO (Kiss&Hug) was released today. In this teaser image, the members of EXO are forming the letters of their group’s name. Notice that the formation is from shortest to tallest (I’m usually the one in front of a photo, if the formation is according to height xD).

Looking at the above teaser image reminds me of the time when I was in 9th grade and my class had a trip to the beach. There was a huge sand dune that we had sat on and formed the numbers for the year “2004.” A person from a boat in a far-off distance in the water took a snapshot of our “2004″ formation (I actually can’t remember whether it was a boat or a helicopter from which the photo was taken from). I still have a photo of it at home. Good times!

Having said that, I’m sure that Tao would have been very happy to form the letters of EXO on a beach. Furthermore, Kris, who is Tao‘s best friend, has stated in an interview in CeCi Magazine‘s June 2013 issue, that he would like to chill at the beach. What a perfect moment! =P

In my previous post on EXO‘s teaser images, I forgot to mention that the black and white image of EXO depicts the members as model students, whereas their colorful photos in which they are dressed all hip, depicts them as rebellious students.

Update: ANOTHER teaser image of EXO was uploaded on SMTOWN’s Facebook Page. This time the teaser image included EXO in white T-shirts. The members look rather casual and relaxed.

An interesting thing to point out is that this teaser image not only features the members of EXO, but it also includes Kris‘ basketball, which one can see at the back on the left-hand side.

It appears as though Kris is wholeheartedly expressing his passion for basketball while working as an entertainer =P

This is one of those rare moments in K-Pop where the members of a boy group are dressed as normal guys and not in tight skinny jeans or outfits with clashing colors. Bravo! =P

My post, A Glimpse at H.O.T’s Songs and and SME’s Current K-Pop Boy Groups, touched upon the topic of how the fashion sense of K-Pop boy groups has changed dramatically between the mid-90′s and now. It’s nice to see SME bringing back the boy-ish look for their groups!

As for the EXO photo shoot with flowers in the CeCi Magazine June 2013, especially Dodo Kris‘s pic. in which he is holding the flower vase on his right shoulder, all I have to say is…LAUGH OUT LOUD! xD

Other than that, there is a whole interview section in the CeCi Magazine June 2013 issue with the members of EXO. Now, I have to add those details once there is a full English translation. The only info. that I know so far is that Kris wants to go sky diving. I was about to go sky diving at the end of last year with a friend, but I had to travel back home =P Most of my friends have stated that the experience is really amazing. Imagine if the whole fandom went sky diving…it would be raining fans =P Wheeee!

We can expect more teaser images for EXO‘s comeback to be released in the upcoming days, iA. The question is, when are the teaser videos going to be released?

The above photo looks like it’s right out of a yearbook from the 1960′s =P

EXO is finally having a comeback! Must remain calm. I repeat, must remain calm. I was expecting to see some of the photos of EXO from the CeCi Magazine June 2013 issue when I went online, but I was completely surprised to have found something else – teaser photos for their comeback.

At first, I saw a black and white image of Kris on Tumblr and thought that his face was Photoshopped onto someone wearing a suit. However, as I scrolled down, I saw a collage of black and white photos of all the members of EXO in suits.

At this point I thought, “Is this part of their CeCi Magazine photoshoot? Wasn’t Kris supposed to have a photo where he is surrounded by flowers like Luhan and Kai?”

I was going through a list of old songs on my external hard drive and I stumbled upon Fergie’s Glamorous feat. Ludacris. I haven’t listened to that song in years now, but when I heard it, I thought, “This fits very well with one of the pictures of Kris looking sophisticated on a plane while traveling from his hometown, Guangzhou, to Seoul, which was shared just recently by the owner of the pic.”
