I remember mentioning that I imagine Kris to one day give away one of his most special items to a fan, which I had thought would be his denim jacket or one of his necklaces. It turns out that all members of EXO are giving away their most treasured item to fans now. I highly doubt that it’s their most treasured item, but it’s something that’s connected to them in one way or the other.
Whoever is doing the thumbs up with the beanie hat…that’s cute! xD The drumsticks look like they belong to Chanyeol. Cards…Ace of Hearts? Kris, is that you or are you the one doing the victory/peace sign with the bracelet!? The pendant looks like Tao‘s and the leopard printed hat looks like Lay‘s. I really can’t guess which item belongs to whom.
Moreover, is that a skipping rope in the bottom right-hand corner? I need a proper skipping rope. I bought one from a kid’s section two years back and it ended up being too small =P I wouldn’t need the dumbbells. I use my brother’s weights and that too without the weight disks…hahaha. I would faint if I used the weight disks x_x
I’m assuming that only Korean fans can participate in this event. We, international fans…never mind. Which item would you choose if given the chance to participate in the event?
All I have to say is that…even though Ace is not one of the items to be given away, I’m taking Ace, whether Kris likes it or not. One day, iA! =P

Girls’ Generation (SNSD) Love & Girls
Girls’ Generation‘s aka SNSD‘s new Japanese song, Love & Girls, is so cheesy yet catchy! The PV is nice too. The original one hasn’t been released yet, so I’ll use the following one instead.
To be honest, I’ve never really liked the English lyrics in SNSD‘s songs. It kind of distorts the song. I don’t know if anyone else feels that way. I noticed something in the lyrics, though. It says that the world will be full of girls in the future. One of the Biblical prophecies states that in the near future there will be more girls in comparison to boys. Looks like someone is preparing for it o_O
I’ve also noticed that these days, SNSD‘s Japanese songs are much more catchy then their Korean songs. I wonder if it’s because Japan has a larger music market. Hmm.

I love Lulu‘s expression in the above teaser image that was released today. Lulu is a champion! All the members look great!
Anyhow, I know, I’m late. My mum left two days back, and I have to take care of the apartment now. Cooking and cleaning, you know the drill.
Anyhow, let’s get rolling with the comments… Yesterday, teaser images for each EXO member were released. I was expecting one individual teaser image to be released everyday, but SME surprised us and released all twelve in one day!
In my honest opinion, I’m not digging some of the individual EXO teaser images. There’s something rather plain about them. Here are my thoughts on each of them:
In conclusion, my favorite individual teaser images are Baekhyun‘s and Chen‘s. Lulu‘s is nice too.
As for my story about Subway…I have Subway every now and then. Since Subway is not Halal here, I end up ordering the tuna sandwich with honey mustard. I’m okay with it ’cause tuna sandwich with honey mustard is my favorite Subway sandwich, anyways. ^^ Kris would not approve of it since he doesn’t like fish =P However, I’m sure that he would like the chocolate chip cookies from Subway. Those are the best! I’m addicted to them.
In fact, last year, whenever I would walk to class and felt hungry, I would grab a chocolate chip cookie from Subway. Not to mention, the day I walked back from my evening class (it was the day that fans received a StarCall message from Kris and Chen), I bought a Subway sandwich for dinner. After walking back to my apartment, a call from D.O. came. Kekeke! I wrote about it in the post, Kakao and StarCall Update from EXO.
Now that the individual teaser images have been released, what’s next?

Looking at the above pic., can anyone guess whose hand is whose? I’m sure that everyone knows by now =P
The hand with a ring is Kris‘ and the one without a ring is, of course, Tao‘s. A photo of their hand holding onto a basketball court was uploaded onto their Chinese social media site, which they often use, on May 8th 2013…and I thought I was strange for placing a photo of my hand in the post, Quiet Moments in the Dorm…
All EXO fans are aware of the beautiful and brotherly friendship between Kris and Tao, which has earned them the name TaoRis. Well, TaoRis is what we fans refer to them as, but Kris has his own name for their brotherhood and that’s, “KT“.
Their brotherhood is like…Kris Kross. I don’t know why Jump by Kris Kross plays in my head at times when I see Kris‘ gansgta photos as times. Hahaha. Jump was a popular song in the early 90′s by the American duo rap group, Kris Kross. The group was also Ludacris’ inspiration.
The song, Jump, is mainly about not underestimating Kris Kross for their talent in hip-hop and rap just because of their age. Maybe KT can rap to this one day =P
Kris is the leader of EXO-M, whereas Tao is the maknae of EXO-M. Both are Chinese, but Kris has trained the longest out all the Chinese members of the group and Tao has trained for the least amount of time. It is no surprise that Tao looks up to Kris as a source of advice.
KT are often seen together during their free time. Since pre-debut and up until now, they’ve been spotted:

The crazy thing is that I was trying to capture an image of my shadow and was going to place it on my blog a while back and was surprised to have seen the pic. of KT posing with a basketball and capturing an image of their shadow on the ground when Tao had uploaded it on his QQ =P
Imagine if the video capture of KT riding a bike together was taken during their pre-debut days and if fans had seen that moment instead of the moment in the video capture of KT crossing a street together. I think things would have been a lot different then…hahaha! xD Maybe Kris would have been known as the mysterious bike rider instead of the mysterious cow boy. Kekeke!

The members of EXO forming the letters for their group’s name
Another teaser image for EXO‘s XOXO (Kiss&Hug) was released today. In this teaser image, the members of EXO are forming the letters of their group’s name. Notice that the formation is from shortest to tallest (I’m usually the one in front of a photo, if the formation is according to height xD).
Looking at the above teaser image reminds me of the time when I was in 9th grade and my class had a trip to the beach. There was a huge sand dune that we had sat on and formed the numbers for the year “2004.” A person from a boat in a far-off distance in the water took a snapshot of our “2004″ formation (I actually can’t remember whether it was a boat or a helicopter from which the photo was taken from). I still have a photo of it at home. Good times!

Having said that, I’m sure that Tao would have been very happy to form the letters of EXO on a beach. Furthermore, Kris, who is Tao‘s best friend, has stated in an interview in CeCi Magazine‘s June 2013 issue, that he would like to chill at the beach. What a perfect moment! =P
In my previous post on EXO‘s teaser images, I forgot to mention that the black and white image of EXO depicts the members as model students, whereas their colorful photos in which they are dressed all hip, depicts them as rebellious students.
Update: ANOTHER teaser image of EXO was uploaded on SMTOWN’s Facebook Page. This time the teaser image included EXO in white T-shirts. The members look rather casual and relaxed.
An interesting thing to point out is that this teaser image not only features the members of EXO, but it also includes Kris‘ basketball, which one can see at the back on the left-hand side.
It appears as though Kris is wholeheartedly expressing his passion for basketball while working as an entertainer =P

Boys Over Flowers OST
This is the song that got me into K-Pop. SS501‘s Because I’m Stupid, which was also featured in the hit, and my very first, Korean drama, Boys Over Flowers. =P
Maybe I’m stupid for getting into K-Pop -_- I don’t know whether I consider being a fan of K-Pop a blessing or a curse at times. I got into K-Pop around the middle of 2009, when I wasn’t feeling really optimistic.
If there is one thing that I got out of K-Pop, then it is the courage to dance, and that too in front of 1000+ people on stage in my undergrad. university when I had no previous experience in dancing and never even imagined myself to be able to be part of a dance performance.
I don’t like to be deceived by the media, but I know that some of the struggles that K-Pop stars had to initially go through to make it where they are today is real, and I guess that’s what I was inspired by…that it’s sometimes okay to step out of your comfort zone and be strong in the face of public opinion and take on challenges that you had otherwise not thought of taking up.

This is one of those rare moments in K-Pop where the members of a boy group are dressed as normal guys and not in tight skinny jeans or outfits with clashing colors. Bravo! =P
My post, A Glimpse at H.O.T’s Songs and and SME’s Current K-Pop Boy Groups, touched upon the topic of how the fashion sense of K-Pop boy groups has changed dramatically between the mid-90′s and now. It’s nice to see SME bringing back the boy-ish look for their groups!

As for the EXO photo shoot with flowers in the CeCi Magazine June 2013, especially Dodo Kris‘s pic. in which he is holding the flower vase on his right shoulder, all I have to say is…LAUGH OUT LOUD! xD
Other than that, there is a whole interview section in the CeCi Magazine June 2013 issue with the members of EXO. Now, I have to add those details once there is a full English translation. The only info. that I know so far is that Kris wants to go sky diving. I was about to go sky diving at the end of last year with a friend, but I had to travel back home =P Most of my friends have stated that the experience is really amazing. Imagine if the whole fandom went sky diving…it would be raining fans =P Wheeee!
We can expect more teaser images for EXO‘s comeback to be released in the upcoming days, iA. The question is, when are the teaser videos going to be released?

EXO is finally having a comeback! Must remain calm. I repeat, must remain calm. I was expecting to see some of the photos of EXO from the CeCi Magazine June 2013 issue when I went online, but I was completely surprised to have found something else – teaser photos for their comeback.
At first, I saw a black and white image of Kris on Tumblr and thought that his face was Photoshopped onto someone wearing a suit. However, as I scrolled down, I saw a collage of black and white photos of all the members of EXO in suits.
