I was at the Korean Cultural Office in the city of Sydney yesterday and I saw this lovely tourism ad. for South Korea. It was aired 6 months ago. I’ve taken tourism marketing before, so I paid a bit of attention to the ad. while it was being displayed at the office. I love it…it really wants to make me visit South Korea.
I would probably take lots of photos if I ever got the chance to visit South Korea, iA =P My mum jokingly asked, “Do you want a ticket to South Korea for your birthday?” xD If only that was possible and I have a group of friends to go with…^^’

I like this ad.! I see what the company was aiming at… It is connecting back to the past through nostalgic references that most of us, who grew up in the 90′s, are familiar with, and they are trying to reconnect with that audience again. Overall, it’s a reminder that Internet Explorer continues to be with its audience through time.
All of the references were pretty much part of my childhood. God, I miss the 90′s. May we have AWESOME times again?
I’ve been using Internet Explorer for many years until I entered my undergraduate university. I started liking Firefox then, since I found it much faster. However, there are many that prefer to use Google Chrome over the before-mentioned Internet browsers.
Even so, there is no denying that Internet Explorer was what most of us used back in the days. ^^

A new semester has begun and I’m finally starting my advertising courses. So far, my advertising courses seem really interesting. I’m loving the creativity that is involved and the opportunity to generate ideas for upcoming projects. Clearly, with the number of projects lined up, I have to get my creative thinking cap ready.
In the advertising class that I attended today, we were shown different types of ads but the one that caught my attention was “Invisible Mercedes” I thought the concept presented in the ad. was quite unique (I don’t know if there is a problem in playing the video below on anyone’s computer, but it definitely works when one clicks on the “YouTube” button).
One of my other classes involves keeping a WordPress blog. I find it quite amusing xD Of course, I will not be using this one =P

I think this is one of the funkiest, strangest, and captivating ad campaigns for Louis Vuitton. The character design seems as if it belongs in Digimon.
According to the description in the video, it is:
An updated Alice in Wonderland, in which a girl, searching for her lost cell phone, floats in a dizzying world of the company’s logos. While waiting to meet her friends outside of a Louis Vuitton store, Aya’s cell phone is eaten by the LV Panda, who then promptly swallows Aya – but the inside of his stomach is gateway to a psychedelic wonderland.
Check it out!
When I first saw this ad a few years back, I was attracted to the colors, images, and Digimon-looking characters. It kind of reminded me of being a small kid all over again that dreams of an imaginary world bursting with colors.
