Hello everyone!
Thanks for visiting my blog =) Although I prefer to be as mysterious as possible, the paragraphs below will give you a better understanding of me.
This blog is is about whatever I find intriguing. I like to talk about many things that are related to my interests so I thought, why not talk about them here? Although it would have been nice to keep a blog about a specific interest, I think that is not really possible for me as I tend to end up talking about whatever I find interesting xD Furthermore, my interests keep evolving over time as I discover new things.
So what will my blog mainly be about? Currently, I’m obsessed with Korean and Japanese dramas. What strikes me about these dramas is that they contain lessons with morals and values. Additionally, I <3 K-Pop and J-Pop but have been paying more attention to K-Pop lately. I find Korean entertainment to be rather exciting and appropriate for young people such as me. I was glad to have stumbled across it during my search for new things. It has helped me learn about a whole new culture that I can somewhat relate to. Apart from that, I love video games…particularly old school and role-playing ones such as the “Final Fantasy” series and “The Legend of Zelda” series. My favorite genre of music…well, it’s anything that is appealing to the ears. I love Nu-Jazz, Lounge, Deep House, Electronic, Techno, Rock, Heavy-Metal, and Asian Pop music. I also love music from the 60s, 80s, and 90s. As you can tell, my interests revolve around media/entertainment at times (I <3 YouTube).
Other interests of mine include traveling, learning about different cultures, fashion, food (different cuisines from around the world), reading (fantasy, science-fiction, and old classics), history, photography, design, cute and colorful things, arts and crafts, Anime/Manga, science and technology, business (marketing and management), space and sea exploration, nature, and discovering and learning about new things. I may have missed out on a few interests in the list but that’s okay…my list can be pretty endless xD
So that should sum up my interests =) My blog posts don’t intend to be a literary piece of art. Also, I would have loved to design my WordPress layout with Photoshop but I thought that it would be too time consuming so I’m keeping this blog simple and clean. Sometimes less is more ![]()
Thanks for reading! Have a cookie! ^^

Hi~! I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog and the extensive comments you make! You seem like a totally awesome person, you dance, you’re a Masters student in PR & Advertising (something I really want to get into after my BA), anddd you make awesome blog posts. Keep it up! <3
Hello! Thank you so much and nice to meet you! ^^ I am really touched by your comment. Your words motivate me to continue making blog posts. I’m not perfect at dancing but I try xD I think PR and Advertising is great…there are a lot of opportunities out there in this field, especially for young ladies. It relates to marketing as well. I wish you the best of luck on your studies. You’re an awesome person too ^_~ <3<3<3
Hi.. I really like your blog
where you from?
Thank you, Josialyn! ^^ Nice to meet you! I’m from Australia. What about you?
Well, I really want to know you more =p
*hwangminhyo69*
Hahaha, thanks babe! *blush* Maybe in the near future iA?
haha that’s ok
btw, I thought you were Asian. that black hair and etc
I am Asian…but not East Asian xD
aaa… I see
okay, thank you Moonlight
I enjoy reading your blog. We share the same interests. I love final fantasy and kingdom hearts. And not to mention that i’m a big fan of Kris! He’s my bias in EXO and among all kpop idols.
Hello exotickris! ^^
Thanks, babe! Role playing games are my favorite genre in video games, but I do play other games as well ^_~ Kris is my bias too…among all of K-Pop, Hollywood, Bollywood, Lollywood, Dollywood, etc., etc., etc., celebs. xD Hahahaha! Just kidding! Don’t mind me, I love to troll on Kris at times, but that’s ’cause he is our favorite ^_~
hey…i just wanted to say that i really love ur blogspot!! and the fact that your a muslim is even cooler.im from Pakistan and i love kpop too if you are on facebook do give me your id link i’ll add you
Hello Shahana! ^^
Thank you! You mean, WordPress ^_~ Nice to meet you. Where in Pakistan are you from?
I hope you don’t mind, but I do not share my FB with anyone else apart from family and friends. However, I would love to add you on Twitter or follow you on Tumblr! Let me know if you have an account on any of the before-mentioned social networking sites and I’ll add you ^^
yeah its cool,i understand.Im from Karachi.Where in Pakistan are you from? here is my twitter which i rarely use hehehe Unnie:https://twitter.com/ShayluvsujuEXO and tumblr: xieexoelfshawol.tumblr.com.reply me soon Unnie Allah hafiz <3
Nice! I’m from Karachi and Islamabad, but I’ve never lived in Pakistan…I just visit the country once a year ^^ I’m following you on Tumblr now! Woot!
Allah Hafiz =)
ohhh really!! well Pakistan aint that bad- can you speak urdu??
Don’t worry, I know. I really enjoy my time in Pak. with family =) I find winter always better than summers over there. Furthermore, I love eating out in Karachi. The city practically has every type of cuisine in the world. Also, I prefer wearing our Pakistani outfit over a Western outfit any day! If I wear a Pakistani outfit here in public, then people would think I’m too dressed up or I’m some kind of princess from my home country (my Chinese friends tried to convince me to wear a Pakistani outfit and fool the Chinese guys here by telling them that I’m a princess from some tribe in Northern Pakistan xD).
Everyone asks me the question, “Can you speak Urdu?” Hahahahaha! xD Even people that I know in real! I don’t know why EVERY Pakistani asks me this question. Now I just reply, “Mujhe Urdu bolne nahin aati.” Of course, I know how to speak in Urdu, but it’s not super duper perfect =P My Urdu has improved over the years. I’m more comfortable in speaking English ^^
It’s nice to be a grade ahead. You get done with school much earlier! xD Also, congratulations on completing the medical term boards for Canberra, Australia! You should probably come here to study! =P
Do you have to take the medical term boards for Pakistan again? Is it okay if you just pass the ones for Australia?
I think every K-Pop fan that isn’t Korean is trying to learn Hangul xD I’ve noticed that the English language gets affected while trying to learn Hangul. I thought I was the only one that realized that!
Broken English…I would love to hear you girls speak that! Hahaha! That Desi K-Pop Meme Page is HILARIOUS! I just had a look at it. I’ll ‘Like’ it right now!
My name is not Arisha =P My name means “my moon/our moon/moonlight/large eyes (like those of a deer)”. That’s all I can say for now ^_~
Yep, keep moving forwards, girl! You take care as well! ^^ <3
hhahaha I get actually Pakistani people living abroad keep their kids in a completely different atmosphere and surrounding so the only questions that pops up in our heads is k URDU BOLNI AATI HAI xD adn I agree abt the dress code thingy LOL I knw what its like.My dads frnds thoguht he was a Tribe Leader when they visited Pakistan and Aba Ji was wearing Kameez Shalwar XD and the ehat of Karachi UURRGGHH Allah Ki toba!! its didnt even rain in the monsoon season only a lil bit of drizzling around dawn for two days..Even I like winter in PK better then summer.Abhi anay ka koi scene hai PK??
I understand what you mean. Pakistanis that have grown up abroad are quite different from Pakistanis that have lived in their home country for most of their life. However, not all of us are completely “Westernized.” I actually find Pakistanis that have grown up in Pakistan more “Westernized” than the ones living abroad =P
Nevertheless, I visit Pakistan once a year so I don’t feel so disconnected from our culture as those that probably visit the country every 4 or 6 years. I heard about the lack of rain in Khi. this time. Some of my friends over there mentioned it. In Australia it rains every now and then…you get tired of it xD
Abhi koi scene nahin hai lehkan…there is a wedding that I have to attend in the winter (Pakistan winter) inshAllah. I think that’s the only thing I’m looking forward to. It has been a while since I have been to a wedding.
I heard that there is a K-Pop fan club in Khi. in which meetings occur. Are you part of it? I thought it would be nice to meet fellow K-Pop fans over there. There used to be Koreans that lived two blocks down my street in Khi. I believe the family was there for diplomatic reasons…the father must have been an ambassador as he worked for an embassy there. I never got the opportunity to greet them, but my dad did. At that time, K-Pop wasn’t known as this was a couple of years back and it has been a while since the family left the country. Have you noticed how there are a couple of Chinese and Japanese people in our country? I have a half-Japanese half-Pakistani friend, who I got to meet in Australia. I’ve seen more Chinese in Khi. and it’s cool how they wear our traditional outfit, which I get to see when I go shopping for groceries with my parents xD Apparently, any place I’ve stayed at in Khi. or plan to stay…some East Asian person is nearby or was living there before =P
yeah actually because of the terrorist scene not many foreigners come but CHINESE ROCK!! they always support PK in all times and if you cant find any foreigner you will always find Chinese people in PK hahah I JUST LOVE THEM WITH OUT A REASON.
My mom gave me a chinese name too!! its XieXie as in thankyou!! *Allah bless her soul for that!!*
NOOO~where is this Fanclub!! I wanna knw!! actually i got in to Kpop late 2010 when Super Junior released BONAMANA.But at first I was all for Chinese and Japanese music plus anime,Then one day BAM!! SUPER JUNIOR caught my eye and since then it all for Kpop,I dont talk to my PK frnds they all are into U.SA. and Indian stuff.I dont dislike it but I would prefer people changing their interest every now and then.I have only 3 kpop fans in PK dat I knw of!! I’ll look for more though.
and did you know!! U KNW EXO,SO YOU KNW LAY AS IN YIXING(my future hubby XD)? they are visiting Jakarta Indonesia for SM TOWN CONCERT.2 of my fellow exotic frnds are going there,so i send my gifts to Lay.
Its a hand made mug,I made two so to keep the similarity thing hahaha.and you know how people write quotations on small planks of wood,I made that and decorated in the ROYAL TIMES kinda Writing.and last i wrote letters to all members,Hopefully the package will reach my frnd on 19 and the concert is on 22!!!! OHHHHH IM SO EXCITED!! PRAY DAT LAY receives it and knows that EXO has Pakistani fans too!!
Well, hello XieXie…. xD I remember using that word several times when I was in China =P
This is the fanclub: http://www.facebook.com/KPOPFANsOFPakistan I think there are more. There is a separate page for Pakistani fans of SuJu and EXO as well. I discovered K-Pop in early 2008. The first K-Pop group that I listened to was Wonder Girls, but I wasn’t a fan of K-Pop in general back then. It was not until mid-2009 when I watched the drama, “Boys Over Flowers”, and discovered the group, SS501, did I really get into K-Pop ^^ I was into J-Pop since my early teens.
I still listen to Western music, but mainly old songs or bands, and perhaps SOME songs that are REALLY good these days. Generally, I listen to songs that sound good and have meaningful lyrics.
I heard about the SMTOWN concert happening in Jakarta iA. Indonesian fans must be thrilled! Wow…you seem to have been well-prepared in deciding what presents to give. Sounds awesome! I’ll pray that Lay and the rest of the members of EXO receive your gift iA.
Don’t worry…I’m pretty sure that the members of EXO know that they have Pakistani fans ^_~
omg omg!! you know wht add me here on FB,i dont feel convenient talking here, also i wont give out ur identity!! http://www.facebook.com/sarang.superjunior.hangeng13.l.joe.kpop plzzzz

Hello Shahana! ^^
Yayyy! I’m glad that you have found K-Pop fans in Pak. Woot! Yes, I did visit Pak. this December. It was a short stay as I was only there to attend a wedding. No need to be sorry! ^^’
Best of luck on your exams, babe! I shall talk to you soon then, iA. Take care <3<3<3
Noona!!!! My exams went AWESOME!! I usually forget to check if you have replied or not, because im usually sending my dad’s emails and all!! but any who, did you enjoy here in PK.!! there is alot of drama going on here!! :3

noona even i have watched flower boy next door!! IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! LOVED YOON SHI YOON!!
Congrats. on getting done with your exams, Shahana! ^^ I think you mean “unnie” instead of “noona” ^^’
I haven’t finished watching the drama yet. I’m half way through it. It’s a really interesting one! ^_~
Ikr!! nai I dont like unnie so I use noona XD waiting for the result to come out, which is expected this week.
Also my moms bday is coming on 12 march, its been a whole year that she left!! :’( but coping with it is just…..a bit hard. you tell whats happening at your end??
Best of luck for the results! I’m sure you did well, iA!!! I hope you don’t mind me asking, but where did your mum leave?
I’m just busy in getting things sorted out before moving places. There’s so much to be done! >_<
as in she passed away on 2 december 2011. ur moving? even my dad wants us to move to malaysia T_T
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss, Shahana. *gives you a hug* May Allah grant your mum the highest place in Jannat Al-Firdous. Ameen. You seem like a very bright and strong girl! Always be like this!
Malaysia is a nice place, and not to mention, it is much safer than Karachi (especially these days). I’m only moving from one building to another, not to another city, but there are a lot of tasks that need to get done >_<
Ameen!!
Wow, I know, we left our house too, cox of the economy of PK is going no where, we had to put our house up for rent to keep the wheel of finance moving -_-.
and I totally agree, Karachi is in a blood shower every day!!
btw why arent you calling me Xiexie, shahana is soooo…..L.O.N.G plus I dont really like my name XD
It’s a good thing that you’re putting your house up for rent ’cause leaving it as would be pointless. So, are you looking forward to moving to Malaysia? Your real name is pretty, but I’ll call you Xie Xie if you say so xD
Im kinda confused about moving out just yet, but we’re still thinking it through, lets see what dad decides, The thing is dad is 68 years old M.A, and he cant get a job that easily,we are 3 siblings and have 5 older HALF siblings, who are married and have kids and dont give a damn about dad,so if dad gets a job we stay otherwise we leave
I understand what you’re going through right now, Xie Xie. Everyone’s parents from our generation are reaching that age where it’s almost time for retirement.
I’ll pray for you. If there is confusion in making a decision, perform istikhara. InshAllah, things will work out.
Malaysia is a pretty family-friendly place and things over there are quite affordable in comparison to other countries. I’m sure that you will enjoy the peaceful and safe atmosphere.
I know that it’s sad to leave a place that one has been living in for so many years, but Karachi is really not doing so well at the moment. If things were great over there, my parents would have never of left the country in the first place.
Anyways, stay strong Xie Xie! Allah will work things out for you, iA! Hwaiting! <3<3<3
NOOONA~ You have to check my mental level here.
I entered school at the age of 2 1/2 so i was a grade, ahead of my age. Meaning very smart LMAO xD no arguing there XD
recently I cleared the medical term boards for Canberra, Australia ……..*Drum roll….wait for it*
FAILED THE PAKISTANI ONE’S AGAIN xD
I’m having a rush of mixed emotions here. and uncontrollable laughter.I just had to share this with you.
2nd thing, you know how all kpop fans have the urge to study Korean/Hangul well, i cleared up to level 9 but this has a down side,my English vocabulary got destroyed big time
If someone uses big words in front of me, I space out or stare at them wondering what they said XD
and aj kal to naya junoon chara wa hai, me and all my friends talk in broken English! God itni hasi ati hai k bus, English ka Janaza nikal dete hain hum log. wese me and my Friends have a page of desi kpop memes. did u like it? check out all the dayum insane things we do, with Photoshop. Im sure you’ll die laughing.

noona why arent u replying?
Xie Xie! Mianhae!
I rarely check the ‘About Me’ section, so I apologize. I’m fine alhamdulillah. How are you? I have shifted to the new place. Some things still need to be sorted out, though. I have to use the Internet sparingly, since we have limited Internet at the moment. Have you already moved?
I heard about the earthquake victims. Don’t worry, I prayed for them and all of you that felt the earthquake tremors. I’m still tensed about Pakistan’s political situation. Just hope things work out for the better, inshAllah.
Wow…you share your b-day with so many K-Pop stars! The only person that I share the same b-day with is the leader of the K-Pop group, BOYFRIEND. Hahahaha! xD
By the way, some of my friends liked the Desi K-Pop Meme Page! All of the memes are HILARIOUS! If only K-Pop stars understood Urdu, they would have been laughing along!
Keep me updated about your move! <3
Im good, Alhamdulillah~ I shifted to a new place too~ its been 10 days here.

Mmmm.. Do you know If Kris like Jessica?
Click this link.. Hyahahah..~ Look’s like kris can acting very well..
And his expression make me laugh.. and crying because I’m very jealous with sica eonnie.. Hwaaa!!! *Crying*
I think they are a nice couple.. Have a cool ice face, but have a warm hearts..
WARM ICE COUPLE.. ^^
Thank you, Yumi! ^^
Sorry, babe. I don’t know who Kris likes =P I’m happy with whoever he ends up with, as long as the girl is kind and caring ^^ I think Kris and Jessica are just friends. Jessica gets along with the other guys in SM Family as well. In the video, Kris looks like he is being a gentleman. His smile after he puts the flower wreath around Jessica made me laugh, though xD
so what is kris favirite tv show
Hello Ryleigh!
Kris’ favorite TV show (Korean) is “I Need Romance” and “IRIS” xD
Hi! I was googling Kris pictures and happened to come across your blog or WordPress. I read most of your Kris related posts and I think they are very entertaining.
Reading your posts made me realise that what you said is true; how Kris and Exo are just like the rest of us, only they differ in profession. I also loved how you said that you’d rather consider yourself a friend than a fan. It was very eye-opening for me.
Another thing that I grew quite fond of was the fact that you are Muslim and studying in Australia. Not to mention the little advice you gave us, to not be obsessed about Kris. Honestly, there aren’t many who are like you. I like how you just say what you think and what you want to say about Kris and also be positive about it. I feel, in that way, we share some similarities.
You’re also quite amusing and friendly, based on how you talk about things.
Hello Hani! ^^
Thank you! <3 I really appreciate the fact that you have taken out your precious time to read my posts thoroughly and I am glad to share some of my thoughts with all of you.
For me, I like to treat people from all walks of life equally. It doesn't matter if somebody is a celebrity, a poor person, etc. What really matters is having respect for one another and treating each other as human beings.
You seem to be quite amusing and friendly, yourself! ^_~
Ah, honestly, you have inspired me.
I’m merely 17 (and Muslim too) and learning that you are a Muslim studying in Australia, well it’s inspired me to work harder to achieve my goals and study overseas. And your fan girl ways (haha) are also admirable.
My Exo bias also happens to be Kris. And ever since I started liking him, well, somehow I would never let myself get too obsessed. Honestly, it’s because I worry that being obsessed with Kris (and Exo) might actually affect me and the way I live my life. I always try to keep everything at a low; not spazzing too much, or watching all their videos or anything along those lines. I mean, I don’t know everything Exo, and I’m okay with it. I do get jealous when my friends know more about Exo’s activities/whereabouts/info than I but I feel like, in that way, I wouldn’t be so fanatical. It’s probably because I don’t want to live a life that revolves around Exo. (and that isn’t how it should be anyways)
Ah, I don’t know why I’m talking to you about this but I feel like, you might actually get how I feel.
Anyways, thank you for the eye-opening, entertaining articles and for the wonderful insight to your fan girl (or should I be using a different word instead?) mind. I look forward to reading more of your posts. Oh! And I congratulate you on the fact that you are able to still keep a blog and express your thoughts on topics of interest despite being a university student. I’m still in school and I can’t even commit to my journal (which I only write in when I feel the need).
Don’t worry…I’m sure with hard work and dedication, you will be able to study overseas one day, iA ^^ You’re 17…treasure these years! Wish I could go back to the time when I was that age. “Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only 17!” That song by ABBA comes to my mind whenever I hear that age xD Where are you from?
I have this feeling that when I will look back at my blog a few years from now, especially my posts on Kris, I am going to laugh real hard at my “fan girl” ways xD
The trick to not getting obsessed is to spend time doing other activities such as socializing with people outside, doing work for the community, and occupying your time with productive hobbies. Go out and meet and work with people that you will get to know at a personal level. They can be just as interesting and as awesome as the celebs. that you look up to (or the image that we see of them). These days, the Internet has caused a bit of a problem as more and more young people have become addicted to it. You know what has helped me to not become obsessed with Kris and EXO? Praying and reading the Quran. Honestly, the peace of mind and soul that I get from reading the Quran is really comforting and sometimes I forget about the worldly things that are often distracting. Of course, there should be a balance in everything that you do.
No need to be jealous of your friends that know more about EXO. You are absolutely right about not wanting to live a life that revolves around EXO and I’m really happy that Kris brought up the message to his fans that stated, “I hope they won’t forget that they’re living for the people who love them.” Also, when the world comes to an end and the Day of Judgement arrives, God is not going to test you on how much you know about your favorite K-Pop stars or groups. He is going to ask you about how productively you have lived your life and judge you on all the good deeds that you have done.
I know exactly how you feel =) Once I realized that everyone was becoming a bit too obsessed with EXO and were “falling in love” with the members, I knew that something was wrong here and that it was time to get my act together and not fall for the media’s trap.
Thanks for the kind words and awesome comment! It is an honor to hear such wonderful things from you. ^^
I’m from Malaysia. I used to live in the U.K but we moved back to Malaysia a few years ago.
Mind my asking, how old are you?
Aww…I do the exact opposite of socializing.
It’s not that I don’t want to but I can’t. I rarely go out, even with friends, and I’m not sure if I have hobbies. Okay, I have one hobby and that is reading
But I haven’t found any good books to read. I’m currently rereading The Hunger Games series just to pass time.
So I guess, that’s why I couldn’t get Exo out of my head.
Hmm…Maybe I’ll try to be a bit more productive after I graduate, which is in 2 months. I have to sit for a national exam in a month and then I’ll be free for 3 months! Well mostly because we get our results in late March, so….yeah, plenty of time to socialize!
Did Kris really say that?? Wow, he kind of reminds of Changmin since Changmin told us fans to think of him as a supplement and not live their life for him. I don’t exactly remember what he said but that was the message he was conveying.
I couldn’t help laughing when you said God isn’t going to test us on how much we know baout our favourite K-Pop stars. It is true. Another good reason why we shouldn’t be obsessed with them.
By the way, have you seen the pictures of the fangirl who created a fansign (I’m not sure what you call it) for Kris with this really…inappropriate message? I thought it was really embarrassing as a fellow Exo fan. I’m sure she was just trying to make sure Kris would remember her, though, it was a bit too much in my opinion.
Nice! I’ve been to KL in Malaysia. Pretty place! I’m 23 =P
To take a break from the K-Pop world, the best thing is to distract yourself with other things. You know what you can do? Learn how make new dishes! xD I know it requires work, but this skill will come in handy when you live alone. Also, best of luck on your exams!!! I only have two more weeks of uni. left iA.
I heard about a similar saying from Changmin too. I don’t know what exactly he said either, but it did sound like what Kris stated in the CeCi magazine interview.
Yes, I saw pictures of the poster boards by the fan girl. I thought it was really disrespectful, but rather than criticizing her, I just prayed for her. However, people that say the same inappropriate things online shouldn’t be judging as their behavior isn’t any different from that fan girl’s. God is watching whether one does such inappropriate acts in public or behind-the-scenes in private. I remember the time when the MV for EXO’s ‘History’ was released and all the inappropriate comments that people had made underneath it. I was appalled. Did you know that the members of EXO could have been reading those comments? I’m pretty sure they did because if I were in their position, especially if I am new in the entertainment scene, I would be interested in knowing what fans are saying about me or the MV. Most people would feel rather uncomfortable if such comments were directed at them.
In fact, I watched a video in which Tablo was asked how he felt about an inappropriate message a fan had made on a poster board for him at a concert, and he said that he was shocked and that he felt really uncomfortable. I can completely understand. After watching that interview…I think Tablo is a really cool person ’cause he knows how to express his opinions about any given topic. Former member of U-KISS, Alexander, spoke about how freaky some fans are and even sent a link on Twitter (with a warning about the material in the post), on what some fans have done in the past for their favorite stars. I felt really sick after seeing it >_< Many K-Pop stars are fully aware of how some fans are like, even though they may not speak about it in public.
I think parents need to spend more time with such kids or teens and be aware of what they are doing. People that often do such things do it out of some passion that they cannot control and often are in need of help. I also blame the media for feeding into the minds of these young people. There are a lot of messages in the media that our conscious mind may not pick up instantly, but our subconscious mind does, which may sometimes govern one's behavior without him/her even knowing it.
Anyhow, I'm sure that many K-Pop stars are also aware of the fact that they have several amazing fans that do not go overboard when it comes to showing appreciation for him/her ^^
Really? You’ve been here before? What for? Oooh, 23. That means you’re older than Kris by a year, right?
Actually, I have been learning to cook. My mum asks me to make lunch whenever she’s too busy, so I guess it’s a good way to practice.
And thank you! I hope you enjoy your last two weeks in uni! What will you do once you finish?
You’re just so cool! I like the way you think. And what you say is true. There are some things in the K-pop fan culture/fandom that I quite disagree with because it is endangering the moral nature of human beings. For instance, role-playing games based in social networking websites. My sister told me about a K-Pop smut RPG where role-players can actually rape other role-players when reaching a specific social status in the RPG. I’ve been wanting to report that RP because it is repulsive but I don’t know if I can.
In the girl’s case, I just hope that other fans take the opportunity to reflect on the situation and be more careful of what they say or do.
Anyway, may I know your name? ‘Cause I always refer to you as ‘the blogger’. I think you know mine already.
I was in KL for summer vacation last year ^^ I arrived on the day B2ST had their concert, and I had no clue until I saw images of them in a magazine about the events in KL at the hotel xD Yes, I’m 1 year older than Kris, but I feel like he is older than me because of his serious expression….hahahahaha =P
That’s awesome that you’re learning how to cook. Your mum must be very proud of you for helping out with the house choirs ^^ I am actually super busy these last two weeks :’(
I’m going to search for a job here after I’m done, iA. I actually want to do an internship in China but I’m not really sure about it. I’ll probably apply for the program that was being promoted in uni. and then see what happens. The program enables one to do an internship in either Beijing, Shanghai, or Hainan (it’s supposed to be the “Hawaii of China”). I was initially thinking about Shanghai but my friend from Changsha keeps telling me to choose Beijing over Shanghai for the cultural experience. The thing is that I’ve been to Beijing TWICE and I have never been to Shanghai, which is apparently more modern and Westernized. Shanghai kind of sounds like Dubai and I’ve lived in Dubai (near it) for four years so I understand how people in Shanghai might be like. However, I think I’m more interested in Hainan now. The program is a study-work-travel program. I actually want a job that has some sort of cultural experience, but my dad…let’s just say that we both have very different viewpoints regarding this =P My mum might be flexible with it, but my dad wants me to work in Australia.
Thanks, dear. I feel flattered now xD I like the truth. I agree with you. I don’t even bother looking at those K-Pop role-playing games or fan-fiction ’cause I think they can actually have a negative impact on one’s mind. It’s really shocking that people can even write such things, especially about someone they admire. I’ve only read two fan-fiction stories and apparently they’re both Kris-related. It’s the first time that I have ever read K-Pop fan-fiction and because they were about Kris, and the ‘synopsis’ for both seemed interesting, I decided to read them. One of them was actually very moving and I did have a tear in my eye after reading it. The writer imagined how Kris’s life was like starting from the time he was in Vancouver and on his way to Korea, his trainee years, and how he was finally able to debut. The writer used Kris’ status updates and photo captions from his RenRen and Facebook to make the story more realistic. I think it’s one of the coolest fan-fiction I have ever read (there was no romantic stuff…just writing that made you see life from Kris’ point-of-view) ’cause it seemed so real. I think the writer must have also seen my blog post on Kris, as that is where most of his pre-debut info. is compiled.
Yes, I know your name! ^^ My name…I can’t reveal it here =P I actually do this for job purposes as employers often do a Google search on people that apply for their company. They do this to check how a potential employee for their company is like. You never know what an employer might be thinking while reading your blog. The employer might have a certain viewpoint about something and may disagree with yours, and when they do that, they might not employ you.
You may just call me “Moonlight” here ^^
I see. Oh wow, if you were lucky enough, you could have bumped into them or something.
I had an almost similar experience. I was in Korea on Yunho’s birthday and we were passing by the area where Yunho had his birthday celebration with the fans. I was so jealous
And there was also an incident where I met a local teen star at a mall. I was in a department store and he passed by me. I was like “Isn’t that the dude from the tv show?” He was with a friend and they seemed to be looking for somebody/something. I didn’t see them after that. Later that day, my family and I headed to a restaurant to break fast. Dad had reserved a table so as we were walking towards it, I passed a table and noticed the people at the table looked familiar. It was the same guy with his friend. The irony of the situation was that our table was diagonally opposite theirs, so we were in this awkward situation because somehow I think the teen star noticed me before this so he and his friend were looking at me as if they knew me. I never asked for an autograph or picture from him though, unlike other people at the restaurant. My friends said I should’ve but I couldn’t be bothered. A week later, my cousins come over for dinner and my aunt tells me she met the same guy during a drama shooting near the restaurant my aunt manages. What a small world, huh?
Anyways, an internship in China??? That is wicked! You get to study, work AND travel which has always been a dream of mine! All my life I’ve always wanted to go overseas to study and travel. My dad is always telling me about his experiences overseas. I’m probably following in his footsteps. One of my plans is to get a degree in TESL and then take a TEFL course and teach English in other countries eg. S.Korea, Japan, etc. The main goal is to go overseas for the main objective of travelling and learning different cultures and languages (because I love language) :3 Of course, things might not always go the way you want it to, so I did try coming up with other plans, just for the sake that the first one doesn’t work out. Like they say, you need to have a plan for every letter of the alphabet. Who knows, I might just major in the same field as you are?
Whatever happens, I hope everything goes well for you
Fanfictions…I don’t read fanfictions anymore. I’m a choosy reader. The storylines are becoming too common nowadays; always the same arranged-marriage stories and harem/reverse harem stories. Too cliche for me! There is one story I like and that is A Chanced Meeting by tigerlilly. It’s a very heartwarming short story which involves Chanyeol and “you”. Here’s the link, just in case you feel like reading it http://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/214990
Speaking of fanfictions, have you ever read Absolute Chanyeol?
And Hi there Moonlight!
Lol, if I were Korean, I’d call you Moonlight unnie. I never knew employers would conduct a Google search on you. Hmm, best keep that in mind.
There is no such thing as luck, Hani. There is only destiny. It would have been cool if I had seen them, though ^_~
Oh, wow…you were so close to where Yunho was. Did you pass by SM Entertainment by any chance? xD You should have gone and talked to the local teen star! I remember seeing a lady on TV and a few months later I saw her at a mall. I just went up to the her and started talking. I asked, “You’re on this program, right?” and that’s how the conversation started off. She invited me over to an event and mentioned the people that would be attending it, but I didn’t go as I was spending time with family and relatives. I just said, “I’ll see if I don’t have any other plans…” xD
I think getting a degree in TESL would be interesting as then you would get the opportunity to teach in Japan and South Korea and get to experience a whole new culture in more depth. You know, I was looking into it before pursuing Masters because Japan and South Korea are two countries that I really want to visit, iA. It’s always good to have a back-up plan. If you want to know anything about my major, feel free to ask ^^ Thanks for the wishes! I hope everything goes super duper awesome for you too, iA! ^^
I’ll take a look at the fan-fiction ‘A Chanced Meeting’ when my semester ends, iA. It sounds interesting!
You may call me Moonlight unnie if you want to xD
So since you like travelling, have you ever been to London or Paris because my school is hosting a trip to London and Paris for 10 days and the cost is about $3300 (CAD) which includes airfare, food, hotels, basically everything, and I’m not sure if I should go or not.
You should definitely go, Sarah!!! It’s an opportunity that doesn’t come all the time and it’s a great way to gain some cultural experience and make memories of high school ^^
I’ve been to both London and Paris. I’ve actually been to London twice. Between London and Paris, I would say that Paris has a lot that one can see, but everything there is much more expensive, such as food. The food portion size that is served at restaurants is really small compared to what you get elsewhere and it’s also twice the amount. Then again, you don’t really have to worry about this since the cost of food will be covered in what you will be paying up-front. I like London’s fish and chips…the kind that you get in the newspaper wrapping. It’s sooo good xD
In terms of atmosphere, London can be a bit depressing in the Winter as some of the people I know that live or study there have mentioned this. Late Spring and Summer is a nice time to visit London. I’ve visited London in the Summer season and the weather was really pleasant, especially in the late afternoon.
Paris has a very distinct and vibrant culture, but it’s not like the way it has been hyped up by the movies and everything. It actually wasn’t like the way I had expected it to be, but it was still fun roaming around the streets and looking at all the historical sites and out-door cafes. Most of the happening moments begin at night when the locals dress up and are attending some sort of event, but night time can be quite dangerous there and there are quite a couple of swindlers too that are on the look-out for taking money from tourists.
In the end, it all depends on where you really want to go. Perhaps you should search some of the things there are to see in both cities and decide. There are a lot of greats websites like Wikittavel, Lonely Planet, and others that will give you this information. Maybe you could ask the organizers of your trip about the itenerary for both trips just to get an idea of what you will be doing in both of those cities.
Honestly, if Italy or Spain were one of your choices, I would have said to go those places instead. Venice is a lot more romantic than Paris. Both Italy and Spain are very beautiful places, are quite clean compared to other European countries, and are packed with lots of things to do and see.
Personally, between London and Paris, I would choose Paris.
Let me know which place you will go to! ^^

Hello Faby! ^^
Thank you! ^^ I have Twitter and Tumblr. What’s your username? I’ll follow you! <3
Hey Moonlight!
Remember my question about the Paris and London school trip I asked you earlier around October. Well the school board had another trip to Paris, France for one month and you take a French course their. So, it’s like a month of school in Paris. My parents said that I have to pick either the school trip or the school board trip and I decided to pick the school board trip because I can actually receive a credit there. I’m not very good a French so hopefully this will improve my french a lot, and I’m really glad that my parents are supportive of me going to France. The only thing I’m really worried about is homesickness because, yes I do go to overnight camps during the summer when I was young for about a week, but I’ve never been away from my parents for a month so I’m kind of scared. Plus we have to cook our own meals for lunch and the only legit thing I can really make is instant noodles (hehehehe…)….so I’m really nervous but at the same time, I’m really excited because this is the first time I’m going to France.
Hello Sarah!
Long time! Yes, I remember! ^^ Congrats. on your parents agreeing you to go to Paris! Woot! The school board trip sounds good ’cause not only will you get the opportunity to learn French, but you will get credit for it as well. That will help you in the long-run.
Don’t be scared about the homesickness. When I went on a school trip to China, I felt a little homesick and took instant noodles too (just in case I got hungry; even though meals were provided…I couldn’t eat half the stuff because the meat was not Halal/kosher), but I didn’t let it bother me as I wanted to spend as much time making memories with the people around me and learning about everything along the trip. If you ever feel homesick, call home and talk to your parents for a while. Just hearing their voice is a source of comfort. Also, take a couple of small snacks. Get to know people on the trip and maybe you all can cook something together. Take a mini-recipe book with you that will help you in making quick meals.
Furthermore, always stay close to your group. You don’t want to get lost like how I did when I went on a school trip =P
Hope you have a fantastic trip! <3
Assalamualaikum Moon unnie! It’s Hani here
How are you? I haven’t talked to you in a loooooooooong time huh?
I actually haven’t had the time to use the internet much. Not that I was busy or anything, I just….didn’t feel like it I guess. So I’m a little lacking in updates. Haha (=___=#) I didn’t think it was possible though, not using the internet. I know some people would die without it but I guess I’m doing fine?
I’m pretty glad I visited your blog today. I really missed talking to you! Plus, I wouldn’t have known that our beloved dui zhang had gotten lost at the airport the other day. Why does that sound so cute to me? Duizhang getting lost. I can’t even imagine XD
Exo are probably still in Malaysia right now but I don’t think I’ll have the chance to see them
Oh! But I almost did! Last time, they came here for the Asia Super Showcase with SJ-M and BTOB which was held at the KWC Mall and I went! Well, I didn’t exactly attend the showcase. I was actually shopping there with my mother and sisters and at the end of the day, I had the chance to stay for a while and wait for the arrival of said artists at the back entrance of the building. It was so exciting! I mean, I’ve never done anything like that before so it was a really nice experience. Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity to see Exo-M since they had arrived a few minutes earlier so I only got to see SJ-M. Better than nothing, right? I believe that it is all God’s will. If Allah wanted me to get the chance to see them that night, I would’ve but I didn’t. So I’m okay with it.
Now that they’re here again, I thought I’d get the chance to see them. Especially since mum is a Kris fan too (Haha! Who knew??), going to the airport to see him and spazzing over him together would be fun. But mum’s too busy and besides, it’s a waste of time and money, in our opinion. They are probably leaving today, just like most of the artists. So, maybe I’ll get to see Kris some time in the future? Insya’allah
Wa’alaikum-assalam, Hani! ^^
I’m fine, alhamdulillah. How are you? Sorry that I couldn’t reply early on. I’ve been pretty busy with all the traveling.
It’s alright. I like to stay away from the Internet at times too…especially when I’m out and about xD It’s actually more fun to see lots of updates after a few days of no Internet than it is to see very few updates with Internet =P
Awww, I missed talking to you too! ^^ Well, at least Dui Zhang didn’t get lost in China like I did…TWICE! xD I think EXO will visit Malaysia again and maybe you’ll get the chance to see them then, iA =) You’re lucky that many K-Pop groups visit Malaysia!
You got to see SJ-M? That’s awesome! How were the members like up-close? I understand what you mean by waste of time and money to go all the way to the airport to catch a glimpse of the members of EXO. Personally, I wouldn’t find it very exciting to be in a crowd that is all eager to see them. That’s so cute that your mum is a fan of Kris! ^^ Don’t worry, if it’s meant to be, you will see Dui Zhang and the rest of the members, iA! =)
Assalamualaikum eonni..

Yes, long time indeed! How are you?
Regarding EXO’s comeback…I know exactly what you mean. To be honest, I don’t have the time to really care about all the rumors. Making speculations is just a waste of time. Let’s wait until the day they actually comeback, iA. ^^
