Good morning! Rise and shine! xD
Today, Kris updated his status on RenRen at 06:15 (CST) and left a lovely message for all his dear friends.
I miss you, I really do. Waiting is painful but it can also be a blessing in disguise. Face every new day bravely, my dear, I will always be around. Good morning to each and every one of you that I will always like, and will never leave behind. — (Translated by: maknaesehun.tumblr.com)
There are multiple translations of Kris‘ status update with slight variations. For instance, I have seen the words, “will never leave behind,” as “can’t let go,” and, “to each and every one of you,” as “my every you,” aka “mei ge ni.” I knew about the nickname, “Mei Ge Ni” that Kris‘ fans/friends in China use for themselves, when I went for his birthday gathering here, which was organized by Baidu Wu Yi Fan (Kris) Bar.
Kris‘ good morning message is the most heart-warming good morning message that I’ve ever seen from a public figure. I read it about 10 times or more… I don’t know why I read Kris‘ messages very carefully and slowly, and not to mention, several times. Hahaha! All I know is that, my mood is much better after reading his latest message, because I wasn’t feeling too well in the morning. On top of that, all of my friends are busy on a weekend. I was about to head out alone to the city by bus, because I wanted to go to the bookstore, Kinokuniya, and enjoy the nice weather, until I decided that I should stay back and wait until I feel better.
“Waiting is painful but it can also be a blessing in disguise.”
When I read these words, I suddenly remembered what Muslims, Christians, and everyone in general should be practicing…and that is patience. “Verily man is in loss, except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds, and join together in the mutual enjoining of truth, and of patience and constancy.” (Qur’an – 103:2-3). For those that are patient, for them their rewards are doubled. Sometimes I become very impatient, particularly these days, and this is a good reminder for me!
Furthermore, Kris makes his messages sound so personal and emotional…as if he is directly speaking to each and every one of his friends. He has a way with words. Though, I suddenly remembered the tragic scene from Titanic when I read, “can’t let go,” in his message. xD
Kris misses us, but the reality is that we miss him more!
P.S. I put Kris‘ message as my status update on Facebook, with quotation marks (of course), and my friends and family members that have no idea about EXO or Kris are liking it. =P I guess everyone can connect to Kris‘ lovely message. ^^

Pingback: EXO’s Kris Wu – The “Mysterious” Member | A Spark of Moonlight
believe in him that he will be back TT___TT
I’m a sobbing mess
Don’t cry, my dear! *pats you on the back* He will be back, iA! ^^ Everything happens for a reason, so don’t worry! =)
It’s like a letter addressed to a lover…
It does sound like it, doesn’t it? xD He has written a “love letter” to his friends before =P I think Dui Zhang should be awarded for his literary skills in writing love letters! “And the award for the Love Letter of the Year goes to…*drum roll* DUI ZHANG KRIS!” A love letter that will bring tears to everyone’s eyes. Standing ovation. Congratulations! *thumbs up* Kekekeke!
I wish I could personally tell Kris that I wish he was my big brother(I wonder how he would react……) I also miss Kris alot so I,m with gaemgyuhyunie on this. And u said Kris said this in his GM Message:”Waiting is painful but it can also be a blessing in disguise.” I didn’t know that Kris was a christian! I mean nobody uses the word ”blessing” unless they are christians or any other religion involving god. It doesn’t matter if he’s a christian or not anyways ‘cuz I don’t judge people because of their beliefs.:) I,m just curious though……
You should tell him that if you ever seem him in person! ^^ I’m sure that he would be very happy to hear that. I have no idea what I would say to Kris in person, iA. There would probably be a thousand things running through my mind that I would probably just end up saying, “Hi Kris!” >_<
There are K-Pop stars that are pretty open about their religion, but I don't know about Kris.
Yea ur right. Out of EXO, I only know Tao’s religion But that’s because I read profiles about him that people post online(Yep I,m IN LOVE with Tao) lol!! He’s a wiccan. But its not hard to believe because Tao ALWAYS wear skulls. Its OK to wear skulls sometimes, but all the time…….Believe it or not, Skulls are signs of wiccanism. So I just wanted to tell u this moonlight!! I hope u find it interesting
Tao…a Wiccan? Where did you hear that from!? I haven’t come across anything that mentions that about Tao! Don’t believe it!
Dui Zhang wears a lot of skull T-shirts too, and has tattoos and several ear piercings. In fact, it’s really common to see guys like that in Australia (tattoos and piercings are like a trend here…According to he National Health and Medical Research Council aka NHMRC, 1 in 7 Australians have a tattoo), but that doesn’t mean they’re Wiccan.
I do know that there is a negative image associated with wearing skulls. That’s why I don’t own anything with skulls on them or anything that seems demonic, but I don’t think it makes a person “bad” all of a sudden. They just need to be more aware of what those things represent, besides it looking “cool” in their eyes.
U have a good point there moonlight!! I aint mad at cha!! In fact, I,m gonna post the link here and u can see it for urself
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=27&cad=rja&ved=0CFsQFjAGOBQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fs4.zetaboards.com%2FSuperShow%2Ftopic%2F9530975%2F&ei=7Us8UZvhFOfZ2QXMooD4DQ&usg=AFQjCNH19joedM2_Acu7sV8AnTtVWhVudQ&sig2=8PaKX91q_PeXJ4aB3qxcfw I hope u can actually see the link if not, I,ll try again because I really want u to see that I,m certainly not lying and I don’t mean this in an offensive way ok??
KIZZ, that’s a role player, which means that some of the info. that’s mentioned in the profile is fake/fictional for role playing purposes. LOL! Don’t believe everything that you read on the Internet, babe!
OMG moonlight I didn’t even think of it that way……..OMG I,m just SO embarrassed!!! All I can do is laugh at myself right now!! (I also replied back to the wrong message so plz ignore that one that’s under my 2nd comment I sent u)
It’s okay! =P No worries! ^^
aaaaaaa… again eonni i love your posting..
let him read your blog >_< i wish…
he promises and we trust him..
Thank you, Chika!
I noticed something. I think Dui Zhang reads what fans say online about him and takes bits and pieces of what they say and puts it all together in a message =P Hahahahaha! If he is considered “lazy”, then I can expect him to do this. xD
For instance, recently one fan wrote on Tumblr, “can’t let go of you,” when mentioning Kris and in Kris’ latest message, he said that he “can’t let go of” fans. Additionally, a fan on Facebook typed, “every day is dark without you,” to which Kris’ response, “face every new day bravely, my dear, I will always be around,” fits perfectly. As for missing and waiting for Dui Zhang…most fans have stated that online ever since he has been missing-in-action. Moreover, on Baidu, a lot of fans have been encouraging themselves to be patient and to remember, “mie ge ni”.
Dui Zhang is really smart and sly when it comes to knowing what fans are saying about him! I’ve mentioned before that he seems to carefully tailor his messages for his audience =P
I haven’t seen those messages but it does fit O.o That’d be really cool if it wasn’t a coincidence, and it’s probably not ? I’m sure he does check what people say online though ^^ I hope your blog is one of those he visits often haha.
I read a joke that Kris probably keeps two cellphones because one, which is an iPhone 4, is probably to check on Korean fans, and the other, an iPhone 5, is to check on Chinese fans. As for his MacBook, he uses that to go on Tumblr to check on International fans. Hahahahaha! xD
I don’t believe in star signs, but there is a funny saying that an Aquarian can easily see right through a Scorpio’s cheeky ways =P This is where I clap my hands together like Chanyeol and laugh at Dui Zhang. xD
When I first discovered Dui Zhang, I didn’t know that he would end up browsing the Internet to see what fans would be saying about EXO =P Out of all 12 members of the group, it just had to be him that enjoys surfing the net. =P
If Kris has ever seen my blog, I would like to know what his first reaction was like, especially when reading the post, “EXO’s Kris Wu – The ‘Mysterious’ Member”. Hahaha!
I saw that joke as well xD
Well to some extent, all of them must be checking their fans’ reaction even if obviously some of them enjoy it more than other ^^ (Kris, Tao *cough*) but it must be convenient for Kris since he can read and speak Chinese, English and Korean ! I wonder if he tells his members about his findings on the web ^^
I say, you should put somewhere in your blog a mission for him to do or say so that we could confirm he reads your blog xD That’d be awesome ! (he probably wouldn’t do it but who knows ?)
what if he already left a comment but you don’t know it’s him ? hehe okay, I should stop fantasizing now …
I read that Kris posted on his renren because some fans disturbed his family/friends in Canada to inquire about him ? I don’t know if it’s true but if it is … *sigh* I know some people complain that Exo fans always have something to rant about and that we shouldn’t get worked up for nothing but I can’t help it sometimes. I just don’t get some fans. I’ll stop there with the negativity ^^
Kris definitely uses his linguistic skills to his advantage! Some of the things that I found similar to what some fans have said recently and what Dui Zhang has mentioned is quite hilarious. Most of those fans have said things in English and Kris can easily translate that into Chinese, change a few words around, and use them in his message! Hahahaha!
I’ve been told before to place a list of what we want to see Dui Zhang doing to confirm that he has been reading this blog, but I didn’t think that would work seeing how secretive Dui Zhang can be =P Since you’re the second person that’s asking…fine…let’s make a short list. What would you like to request? xD
I don’t think that Dui Zhang has left a comment here. Imagine him pretending to be a fan girl and talking like one…hahahahaha! That would be hilarious!
Hmm…I didn’t think that fans in Canada would disturb Dui Zhang’s family and friends. His message on RenRen doesn’t look like it relates to that =/ It seems as though some people see his message as upbeat, but others see it as sad. I guess it’s all about perspective.
It’d be out of character for him to pretend to be a fangirl but you have some pretty chilled fans here as well who leave nice and “normal” comments, you never know xD
I also didn’t think it was because of that at first (I-fans aren’t usually that pushy ? but when I see how EXO’s producers are constantly bombarded of questions .. but it’s another story.) but it could be. or not. We’ll never know. I do agree that his message can be read in different perspectives though !
About the list, it has to be something very distinguishable ^^ I don’t have anything to request in particular though ? Did the previous person request anything ? Let me think about it … okay, if their concept isn’t about wolves and he manages to say something about the moon light, I’ll acknowledge you LOL
More realistically, – maybe pose with a v-sign ? (I don’t remember seeing him do that?)
– with both hands ? haha this would be really funny ^^
– or, in the cheese section, draw a heart and blow it to his fans xD
– or say something about his i-fans on a Chinese show (would that be appropriate ?) or mention all the continents ?
I’m sorry I’m bad at this, does anyone else have better suggestions ?
Moonlight should make poll(s)!! THAT WOULD BE FREAKIN’ AWESOME!! That’s a VERY good idea Evelili
You should make a poll !
and put it the results on a side bar ^.^
@thacyrinz3000 *high fives*
do you have any suggestions ? ^^
Obviously Kris is Moonlight’s favorite member of EXO, I think she should make a poll saying: ”Who’s the most popular member of EXO” or ”Who’s your favorite member of EXO” because everybody likes Kris but it might be some other people that will pick another member as their favorite or most popular
Oh I meant a poll to know what we’d like to see Kris do/say to confirm he’s a regular visitor on this blog xD
And (no offense) I don’t think it’d be really relevant to do a popularity poll ? :s especially since a lot of people end up on this blog while looking up infos about Kris …
No offenses taken!! I misunderstood u and I,m sorry! The only thing I think Kris could tell us to let us know that he regularly visits his blog is maybe where he’s at, what he’s eating, or even telling us where he plans or wants to travel in the future
(I seriously would want to know where Kris wants to travel in the future)
Ok, I’m relieved ^^ That’s pretty interesting ! But it’s not something he could bring up on his own, he’d have to be asked ^^ oh I just realized you were talking about a renren update (right ?) ! it makes more sense now ! I kept thinking about stuff he could do on shows ..
Actually there so many inspirational quotes and things on this blog that he could easily use and sneak in ! we just have to find one that’d make no doubt he’s been here before. the question is, which one ? LOL
@Evelili: I suppose it would be out of character, but he can be good at acting xD There was one comment that looked kind of like it was from Dui Zhang, but then I put it in “Trash” ’cause I later on thought that it was spam and that Dui Zhang would never comment on here =P The comment went something along the lines of, “Wow…it’s like you can read my mind. This is amazing!” LMAO! The name of the commenter was Krissy, too =P
By the way, I don’t put comments in “Trash” unless a spam creeps it’s way through the spam filter. Many of the spam that I’ve seen include messages of praise for one’s blog and then asking him/her to visit a random site to which they have provided a link to. Hence, what so-called Krissy said, seemed more like spam to me (even though there was no link provided to any site).
If someone had blog posts on me from the very beginning, I would have left a comment for sure, but I guess that’s just my personality. At the very least, I would pretend to be someone just passing by the blog when leaving a comment. That’s if I knew that I would get in trouble if I revealed my actual identity. I mean, who wouldn’t leave a comment on a post about themselves (except K-Pop stars)? =P
I did hear about someone trying to follow Kris back home in Canada, but nothing more. I guess these types of incidents are not new, so we should probably expect to hear more cases in the future (even though we don’t want that to happen at all!). It’s just unavoidable if some fans don’t understand what privacy means even after being told about it.
The other commenter didn’t specifically request anything except for something related to aegyo. She mentioned that she had a strong feeling that Kris reads my blog and asked me to make a list of what I would like to see him do in the future.
So far, Dui Zhang likes to talk about clear sunny days and greet everyone with a “Good Morning”! I think him mentioning something to do with the moonlight is clearly out of the question for now =P Maybe he doesn’t like the moonlit skies *cries* xD
Your requests sound good!
REQUESTS:
— I haven’t seen Dui Zhang posing a v-sign using both hands either!
— You know what’s really cheesy? If Dui Zhang could sing the classic song, “Fly Me to the Moon” Oh, my…that would be EPIC! Remember, he can fly…and since he can be really cheesy at times, “Fly Me to the Moon” would be really interesting to hear him sing. Many singers have covered this song and not to mention, the song itself has appeared on TV, film, etc., including an Anime cartoon and a South Korean drama (“You’re Beautiful”)…you can see it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fly_Me_to_the_Moon I’m going to laugh so hard if Dui Zhang sings this song, but it would also be really nice at the same time ^^
— Drawing a heart and blowing it to the fans would be interesting. Some of the other members of EXO have done that. Now, we just have to see Kris do that!
— Dui Zhang should pick Baekhyun up and twirl him around xD Okay, this one was random, but I think Baekhyun would be very happy to be picked up by the one that he admires dearly =P Plus, Dui Zhang has picked up Lay before and tried picking up Chen on “Go All Out.”
— Dui Zhang forming a heart with Chanyeol…the one where each person uses an arm above their head. How does that sound?
— Dui Zhang bringing Ace to one of the variety shows or interviews!!! That would be so cute! ^^ If Dui Zhang is in one of the shows that includes games, he could make Ace sit in the audience for “cheering”. He could ask one of the media people to get the camera on Ace wearing glasses and a scarf, and make the game sound dramatic by getting a spokesperson to state, “Ace nervously watching his father compete in the race…”
— Dui Zhang setting his iPhone wallpaper to a picture of him and Ace together and showing it to the fans
I think that should be it for now…before I get carried away with ideas =P
@Evelili and @KIZZ: A poll sounds awesome, but I think it would be interesting to make a simple post in which we could subtly make a request…just to avoid the obvious and to not be so demanding of Dui Zhang ^^’
LOL at the Krissy comment xD I would also leave a comment if I were Kris.
Come on, Kris, you owe Moonlight that after everything she’s done to promote you LOL
I’m sure kpop stars leave comments though ^^
He could totally post about the moonlight on a full moon ! something like “the moon is pretty tonight” and end with his usual cheesy lines LMAO
Just reading your comment about the song made me laugh out loud. That’s never gonna happen though, he’d NEVER do that. And if he ever does, …. well you’d hit the jackpot xD
I like your ideas with Ace a lot ! the phone background thing is very doable
Do get carried away with your ideas, it’s great entertainment LOL
The post might be more subtle indeed ^^ what if it ends up on the most popular posts side bar though ? haha
On a side note, I’m repeating myself but I love hanging out on your blog so much, you have no idea
I’m sorry if it looks like I’m taking over the comments section in your Kris articles >.<
It’s alright. I’m cool with it. I don’t think K-Pop stars have ever left a comment on a fan’s personal blog. Don’t you think Kris would get in trouble for it unless he actually pretends to be someone else? (If it were me, I would have broken the rules…It’s just innocent fun =P Hahaha, but I wouldn’t want Dui Zhang to get in trouble. It looks like he already has a lot of things to deal with >_<). If I ever did get a comment and figured out that it was from him, I probably wouldn’t tell until someone else actually notices =P
“The moon is pretty tonight”…Kris would only post something cheesy like that if he actually likes gazing at the moon and the stars at night. Tao seems to be the one that talks about starry nights rather than sunny bright days like Kris =P Ask yourself…who would be more into star-gazing? Tao or Kris? I can bet you it would be Tao! As for the moon, nobody cares about the moon, except for when they sing “Two Moons” =P
Also, have you ever heard the phrase about the moon being made out of cheese? =P Here is proof:
http://badtzmarucy831.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/swiss_cheese_moon-5dqv84-d2.jpg and http://artdaria.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/postcard-everyone-knows-the-moon-is-made-of-cheese.jpg
Bonus (Cheesy Eclipse): http://thefabweb.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Peter_Rankin_moon_rug_2.jpg
If it’s too much for Kris to sing, “FLY ME TO THE MOON,” then he could simply sing, “FLY ME TO THE CHEESE!” LOL! Imagine Dragon Wu flying to the cheese…wheee! xD Here, have some Red Dragon Cheese:
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_vOHPw22N2SI/S1X9lEUOh2I/AAAAAAAABVw/7wxEfccA9ag/s400/Red+Dragon+Mustard+Seed+and+Ale+Cheese.jpg
I just realized something. There is a well-known fable of a wolf that sees a reflection of the moon in the water and thinks it’s cheese. Remember Chanyeol singing about cheese in EXO's leaked song, “Wolf”, which happens to be one of the most random parts of the song? After reading the fable…it all makes sense now! xD
Thank you! Ace is so popular that it would be strange if Dui Zhang doesn't make him appear in public. The fans would be super excited to see a sign of him. After all, he is the 13th member of EXO.
Also, merci beaucoup for the compliment. ^^ Feel free to just chill on my blog, though I can't guarantee that there will be any post on EXO or Kris unless they make their comeback soon, iA.
Of course he wouldn’t leave a message as “Kris” LOL I meant they probably leave messages anonymously ^^
Alright, I might have gone a bit too far with my moonlight/Kris fantasy xD I like imagining that he does read your blog and would mention the moonlight somehow :p
About the moon and the cheese … I have heard of the comparison before but now that you mention it … OMG it makes sense xD where did you find all these pictures ?! LOL It might not have been a good idea to let you get carried away after all … just kidding ^^
you’re welcome ^^ did you say “merci beaucoup” in French randomly or did I mention before that I spoke French ? O.o
I’m sure you’ll post something if anything Kris related pops up though ^^ just post whenever you feel like it !
I can tell you for sure that Kris has not left a comment anonymously on this blog =P
That’s really sweet of you to say, but it’s so hard for me to imagine Dui Zhang mentioning the word, “moonlight”, like that xD
I just Googled moon cheese and found those pics.! ^_~ I can be random at times =P My close friends are already used to it.
I can read your mind…that’s how I know that you can speak French! =P Just kidding! That’s so cool that you speak French. Which country are you in?
Well that’s too bad LOL well I was kinda hoping he’d come across one of my comments if he read your blog haha.
I live in France ^.^
He has read my blog. THAT I know for sure…hahaha! If he likes going online, then he must have Googled his name when he debuted =P Last year, my blog appeared on the first page of Google when typing ‘EXO Kris’…so there is a likelihood that he has seen this blog. Since he hasn’t made any comment, he should be regarded as a silent reader for now xD However, I’m not sure if he reads this blog often or not.
You’re from France! Nice! It must be cold over there! How long have you been living there for? I’ve been to Paris once ^^
1st page of google ? wow that’s something LOL. I hope your blog is still ranked high and he stumbles across it sometimes
I’ve … always lived in France ? ^.^ I was born and raised here
and I live in Paris !
(I didn’t want to blow my cover at first but whatever LOL) How did you like it ? how long did you stay ?
Cold ? literally freezing. A few days ago I thought spring was back, no more heater etc and then this morning, BAM, it’s snowing. T.T
Meh…it’s not like I found the cure for cancer. That would really be something! =P Thank you, though! ^^
Wow…you probably know France inside out and must have seen every single corner of Paris. No worries…I like getting to know people, so it’s all good! I was in Paris in the Summer of 2009. I actually had a Euro-trip, which included Turkey, Italy, and Spain as well. I stayed in Paris for 3-4 days. It was a nice place, but it was cloudy throughout most of the days. Food is expensive and the portion size is small! =P The out-door cafes are fun to sit in and just watch the atmosphere. I would like to visit the city again and see some of the places that I missed out on seeing.
The weather is SO unpredictable…pretty much EVERYWHERE. In Australia, it’s supposed to be Autumn. Sometimes it gets really hot and then the next few hours it’s chilly!
By the way, Dui Zhang is back! I heard that he will be traveling to Beijing and then will be flying off to South Korea. Anyways, I guess there will be more updates later on once I get back. I have to go out right now to a cafe and help one of my friends out on assignment. Looking forward to the waffles! Yum! xD
I knew you’d write something about that ^^ I was so happy and excited when I saw the post on my dash >.< it spread like wildfire, like 10 minutes later that's all I had on my dash -.-" Anyway I'm relieved that Kris is finally updating his fans ! he's such a sweetheart when he writes for his fans T.T
Did you see the latest picture of him that's been going around ? (in the bus) I don't know whether it's really him but it's hilarious xD being tall isn't always a good thing LOL
I was happy as well, Evelili. ^^ When I first saw the post, there were 18 notes, and then a few minutes later, there were over 200 notes!
It’s nice to finally hear from Dui Zhang. He gets inspiration from his fans too xD
I did see the latest picture of him on a bus! I laughed for a few seconds. It was too funny xD I think the roof of the bus that he was on was low. In Australia, Kris wouldn’t have that problem while traveling on a bus, because Australians are quite tall. At times, I’ve wanted to be tall…but it’s okay. Dui Zhang has to deal with being tall and I have to deal with being petite. God can’t give one everything =P
Me too ! the post only had a dozen notes ^^ it got over 1700 notes in 12 hours and that’s not counting the numerous other translations ! Kris, if you see that, that’s how much we miss you lol.
Now that I think about it, how many EXO fans are there on tumblr ? I’d say a few thousands ? but if you think about it, it’s not “that much”… I wonder how many international fans EXO has …
on another note, I saw on tumblr that Luhan had made it into an English exam for Chinese students ! I’m slowly realizing how insanely popular he must be there … ^^
I’m not sure if he would have fit comfortably in the bus in my country but at least he wouldn’t be hitting the ceiling hehe. I’m petite as well >.< and my guy friends are so tall, I look like a child besides them … ^^ As you said, we can't have everything in life
What can I say? Kris is a popular guy =P I find it just as surprising as he probably does that the life of a trainee and the life of a trainee that debuts, is like the difference between the ground and the sky. It must feel like living another life. It’s really strange if one thinks deeply about it. It’s like one day you’re just surrounded by your close ones and living a normal private life and then the next thing you know, there are over thousands and thousands of people that know you and you can’t really live the normal private life that you once had. Just imagine it!
It would be very interesting if a K-Pop star wrote an autobiography. I haven’t heard of any that has written one yet, but it would be such an eye-opener as to what exactly they experience to make it to this point.
I think there are a few thousands of fans of EXO on Tumblr. I read that EXO is the second most popular search term on the site right after…ahem…One Direction xD There are many International fans, but it seems like there are MILLIONS of Chinese fans according to the number of “Likes” that I have seen on Chinese social networking sites.
I think I saw that post on Luhan being mentioned in an English exam! Funny! There was also a English textbook for Chinese students, I believe, that mentioned Wu Yifan! xD
It must be very strange to suddenly become so famous and be idolized by thousands and thousands of fans … It must’ve been surprising to see so many fans when they had just debuted. Of course, SME plays a big part in that but even before they actually met their fans, they had a pretty big following already ! I wonder how it feels like to have people popping up and telling you they love you and supporting you so much when you don’t even “know” each other. I hope they can remain down-to-Earth throughout their career
Having people record every single movement you make must be quite disturbing indeed
(I’d go crazy if that happened to me) It’s a path they chose though and with fame comes with downsides.
Not about EXO, but did you hear that DBSK used to move dorms so often because of their sasaeng fans disturbing their neighbors that they didn’t even bother to unpack at some point ? T.T I hope that never happens to them …
An autobiography ? that would totally sell like hotcakes ^^ I don’t think it’s going to happen soon though, Kpop is such a money maker industry, no one would dare shake its foundation for now, especially when it promotes South Korea so well !
Oh wow the 2nd most popular ? that’s pretty big lol I’ll ignore the last part of your sentence xD I’m not surprised about the numbers for China since it’s such a populated country ! well that’s SME wanted to crack that market after all ^^
“where is Kris” was even the most popular search term when he was “on the run” ^^
True, it’s a path that they have chosen for themselves. However, I think most K-Pop stars join the entertainment industry at a young age when they are not really capable of making such huge decisions for themselves or haven’t really experienced life or have figured out the true purpose of life to know exactly what they want. There are people in their 20′s still trying to discover who they really are or what they really want.
Like we’ve said…you can’t have everything in life. You can have fame, but you can’t have complete privacy. That’s very obvious.
I think Dui Zhang mentioned in a live interview and in a magazine interview that he is surprised by the number of fans that they have once they debuted. It’s all the works of SME’s marketing team. Moreover, you can get any person from a street and groom them, and even he/she can become famous and have a fan-following. Check this video out of a fake celeb. prank and you will realize how easy it is to get fans or fool people =P
LOL! This goes to show how easily the public can be swayed.
I hope EXO and everyone with a similar profession remain down-to-earth and humble as well. It’s not easy due to the stress, expectations, and other demands coming in from the higher-ups and the public.
I heard about DBSK’s incident with sasaeng fans. They were incredibly popular back then, so it’s no surprise that people would follow them around everywhere like that. It’s ridiculous, but the fault also lies in the entertainment company, which pretty much “brainwashes” people so that they can make money off of them.
As for The Hallyu Wave, it just recently started spreading across the globe, so it might take some time for a K-Pop star to write an autobiography. Perhaps when he/she gets older and the industry has matured a bit. Maybe the 90′s K-Pop stars should start off with it since they were the ones that experienced the growing popularity of K-Pop domestically and then Internationally. The autobiography would sell BIG TIME! Everyone’s so curious to know the industry from inside.
To be honest, I don’t think the Hallyu Wave is going to last for that long. Music seems more like a fad like fashion now. Everything has a short product life-cycle these days and several markets across particular industries have become over-saturated. Since there are so many K-Pop groups debuting every year now, I feel like the songs that each group comes out with is only a hit for a little while and then everyone eventually forgets about it. Just listen to songs from the 80′s and 90′s, and so many people still remember them ’til this day…but the songs that are being released now are not as memorable or long-lasting, as everything seems to be “recycled”.
Also, EXO-M doesn’t want to be seen as a K-Pop group but rather as a Mainland group. Despite EXO-M’s popularity in China, that image is going to be very hard to break free from because everyone knows that SM Entertainment is a South Korean company, not a Chinese company, and whatever profit is gained by them helps the South Korean economy and not the Chinese economy. That’s one of the major challenges.
Overall, I think Korean entertainment companies are more about selling the image of K-Pop stars than selling the songs, itself. That’s why fans are ready to support a group or music artist, even when they don’t have a good album. This also explains why most K-Pop stars have had extensive training in terms of image maintenance. I found this article really insightful as to what some trainees probably have to go through regarding this: http://kpoprealitycheck.tumblr.com/post/40395066645/15-year-old-sporean-k-pop-hopeful-they-tried-to-fix
I heard about the “where is Kris” search term being really popular. That’s crazy! xD
I agree with everything you said (that should make my answer shorter than the essays I usually write LOL) !
I heard of that fake celebrity prank ^^ I love how people claim to know him xD I have to admit if I had been there, I’d probably stopped to take a look as well … I actually ran into a “celebrity” once at the airport, he seemed like a teenager/young man but he had flocks of fangirls trailing behind him ^^ I didn’t know who he was but once I got home, I told myself I should have taken a picture of him just to know who he was and who knows, I might have had something to boast to my friends once school started ? (I was young at the time okay ? LOL)
I also read that article before and it’s definitely eye-opening
However, I think most people who got into Kpop are aware of that side of the industry and they’re quite okay with it (without encouraging it) since it leads to those all-round entertainers they’re fans of.
About EXO-M, unfortunately I don’t think they’ll ever shed that “Kpop” title because of SME but also because of their brother group EXO-K … How are they supposed to promote as a Cpop group when EXO-K has the exact same concept and songs and they are part of Kpop ? I’d love to hear Chinese people consider EXO-M as a mainland group because they wouldn’t be discriminated against in the industry and I support them but … honestly, I don’t think fangirls mind them being Korean or not (given SJ’s impressive following), being Chinese is just a plus. The general public will see them as Kpop except if they don’t know about EXO-K and if Chen and Xiumin become fluent in mandarin. That’s my take on the subject and I hope I made sense ^^
I think the reason why Kpop can’t last is because it relies so heavily on appearances and youth ; what do you do once you hit your 30′s ? if there’s no musical identity behind, you’re done for
Idols can always branch out to acting, MC-ing etc but it’s harder for females. Okay, that’s not even where I wanted to get to, I went off-topic -.-”
If I saw a large crowd surrounding someone like that, I would be curious to know who is the one that is getting all the attention. However, if it is someone that I’m not interested in, then I would simply walk off to wherever I was going =P I find it highly amusing how everyone suddenly takes out their cameras to capture a shot of the person that is surrounded by others, even if they don’t know him/her. I guess most people go back home and tell friends and family about it and show the picture that they’ve captured. There’s also a chance that a friend or family member would end up knowing who the public figure is.
Did you manage to find out who the young celebrity that you saw was? =P I saw a actress/model/TV host and another famous model back in my home country last December. I didn’t even know who they were when I first saw them, but their face seemed familiar…as if I had seen them on TV before (I don’t really pay a lot of attention to famous people in my country unless they are legends).
Anyhow, they were both tall and pretty, so they were quite noticeable. I spotted them at a salon. I was just looking around and so was the actress/model/TV host and then our eyes met (this sounds so cheesy, but you get what I mean =P). I smiled and she smiled back. At that point, I had no idea that she was a famous person. We simply smiled at each other just like strangers normally do when their eyes meet. My mum was with me and she later on told me who the lady was. When I went back home, I went online and Googled her name and said, “So that’s who she is! No wonder why she looked familiar!” I was surprised by her online pics. because she is much more pretty in person than in the pictures.
I’ve heard that the K-Pop industry has a shady side to it and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the entertainment companies have links to particular groups of people, but the industry people are really good at covering it up unlike Hollywood. I’ve been hearing about this since ages ago and I’ve read A LOT about it as well. Not all K-Pop stars are as innocent as they are portrayed to be either. I know someone that has spotted a few K-Pop stars at a club and even hung out with one of them in a group because the friend that she was with has a large network and has a lot of money to be around public figures in South Korea. The locals, of course, have an entirely different view about K-Pop stars in comparison to people outside of the country since they know a lot more.
You’re right about EXO-M. I think it’s the language that’s very important. EXO-M needs to have songs that are better suited for the Chinese market. I don’t know if this is true and please don’t mind me if I say this, but I’ve heard that to be accepted into society…in South Korea, it’s all about being pure-blood. In China, it’s about being able to speak the Chinese language, and in Japan, it’s all about the personality. Please correct me if I am wrong.
SuJu-M seems to have a very large fan-following in China. They are SO popular and it seems like many people know about each of the members as well. Hangeng, of course, is the most well-known member. I like Hangeng…out of all the members in SuJu, he seemed to be more humble, reserved, and calm. I was completely blown away when I heard him recite something very poetic, as if he was telling an ancient Chinese story, in SuJu’s “Full House” xD The poem was beautifully recited.
I know what you mean about it being harder for females to continue on with their career over there once they hit their 30′s. I think it’s hard for guys too (this applies to any type of job or industry. Employers are always looking for fresh/new young people or people with a lot of experience). As one grows, he/she is not as energetic as he/she was in their youth. For instance, Shinhwa used to be AMAZING at dancing, but now it’s difficult for them to dance the same as they used to. Their backs tend to ache and they know that their body is just not the same as it was before. Plus, it’s a lot harder to lose weight when one grows older. There are some K-Pop boy groups from the 90′s that were very handsome in their late teens and 20′s, but some of them don’t look the same anymore now that they’re in their 30′s. There is this one group that looked like they didn’t really exercise after disbanding and they have obviously changed A LOT since then. You would be surprised. Also, looks don’t last forever. That’s why a lot of elderly people say that we should embrace our youth because once one grows up, he/she will realize that he/she could have done so much with his/her time by being productive.
Nope, I never found out who he was … I like that you acted calm LOL. I have seen a few celebrities in my country but our eyes never met ^^
Obviously, the Kpop industry isn’t all bed and roses and it’s to be expected. It’s all about image after all !
I also have the impression that being a pure blood is very important in South Korea :s I don’t know much about Japan but for China (this is only my opinion and I may be wrong), the language is essential but they also take pride in their native provinces so being Chinese is a plus. There’s also the issue with China and Taiwan. However, artists may face criticism when they’ve lived abroad and then come back to their homeland to try and make it big ? :s if you see what I mean. As long as they show their dedication and will to know more about the culture and language, it turns out fine.
I don’t know much about Hangeng since I didn’t follow SJ since the beginning ^^
I think I know which 90′s Kpop group you’re talking about
Hi..once i read Duizhang’s renren update, I promised that i’ll visit your blog by the end of the day because im sure you will write something about it (hehe).. Well, i agree that his message is one of those heart-warming good morning message, I was inspired to smile the whole day eventhough im not feeling well.. and you know what, i had a weird dream about Kris today on my afternoon nap..(am not gonna share it though because its weird, kkk).
Hello Lyn!!! ^^
Well, you guessed right! xD I’m curious about your dream now.
I had a dream about EXO the day before yesterday. In my dream, they were filming a drama that was about basketball. It was kind of like the anime “Prince of Tennis” except the sport was different. Anyhow, the members were out in the basketball court and Dui Zhang was the most hyper one. Then all of the members gathered together in front of the screen that was above them, and with a smile they raised their arms and fists in the air like the characters from Captain Planet do when they try to combine their powers…hahaha! Basically, that was supposed to be the intro. for the drama. Too bad it’s not a real drama, otherwise I would have watched it. xD
…………….. ( Speechless )
……………………….. ^^’
….. why ? LOL
I have a feeling that this is his indirect message to a special someone. Well, we’ll never know. O.o
(Well, considering the choice of words and the flow of emotion.)
That special someone are his fans xD
If it were someone special like you have stated, wouldn’t it have been better to just send her a text message? Why mention the message in a place where everyone would be able to see? =/ I find it silly when people announce everything to the whole world like that, unless it’s an engagement or wedding. Lovey dovey messages should be kept private =P
Some girls find it sweet.
Well, I think it’s some kind of unrequited love affair. Hahahaha. It’s just I have encountered someone like that before.
Some girls are just too much =P
Unrequited love affair. Now, that’s a twist!
It’s Dui Zhang, babe. Dui Zhang is like this. We must accept and expect such cheesiness from him xD
On a more serious note, there is a possibility that any member of EXO could be dating right now.
Yeah. He’s kinda cheesy. But, that’s one of the things we love about him.
Yep. I think so. It is almost impossible for them not to be dating at this moment. At it is a human right.
Well, it’s up to them.
Actually, I hope they are dating. But, I hope that they date someone who understands the situation.
Ever since Exo debuted, I have noticed Kris always addressed his fans directly as individuals. He talks to every single of of his Fan fans as ‘you’, ‘my angel’, ‘my baby’ or ‘my dear’. Like I said, he is unusual and has his own way of doing things. It is cheesy but I like it, kekeke.
Regarding dating, SM might be more liberal with their seniors who are already very established. But when it comes to dating for Exo, I doubt they have the time n energy to even think about it.
There’s a saying that goes like: “If there’s a will, there’s a way.”
You are right about that. He pertains to everyone but he is always addressing it as to an individual. But, there’s a possibility. They are humans like us, afterall.
Those are exactly my thoughts, Roseorthorns! ^^
I remember using words, such as, “YOU”, in messages when it came to elections for a student organization. It’s a way to make each individual feel important. Example: “YOU can make a difference,” and, “YOUR vote matters”. It’s a communication technique, which I myself have used =)
Since Dui Zhang is known as sociable, he probably has good communication skills. It’s pretty evident in his messages.
However, like Six has stated, I still feel that there is a likelihood that some of the members could be dating. A few Senior K-Pop groups have revealed that they have been dating since debut, which includes their rookie days. Anything is possible!
This was kinda cute ((^_^))
Yup! Kris, after all, has a cute side. For some reason, he also seems like a ROMANTIK (yes, I deliberately spelled it like that) guy =P
Thank you so much for caring me …
Just because I don’t Know what to say ………….
I’m feeling sad all the time but everything will be Okay …
And there’s one thing I would like to tell you guys :
” Never give up on something you really want, it’s difficult to wait but more difficult to regret . ”
Please, don’t forget what I said right now . I’m very honest .

Eeeek ! Let me give you a sweet KISS ^ u ^ ( Mwah ) !
Hey Moonlight I got a question for ya!! If u know what I,m talking about, can I change my wordpress username without having a problem with everything else on my account? I really wannna change my username but I,m kinda scared ‘cuz I don’t want to mess up my whole account.
Geez…. I have to tell you something sis …
That strange………….
Today, I feel bad the whole time..
I don’t know why…
Maybe. .. somethings wrong with my mother ..
She forced me to eat FISH !
In the afternoon around 12:00 pm, I have lunch for fried fish then in the evening ( nearly night ) I have dinner for hot fish soup mixed with beef and tomatoes . Oh my…
I felt weird after all @_@
So, I asked her very seriously :
” Mom, why do like to eat fish ? ”
Then she replied :
” Oh ! I think fish is very delicious and good to eat ! If there’s between chicken and fish, I would prefer
FISH !!!! Because it makes you smart and healthy . ” ( Smile )
Suddenly , I laugh alot :
” HA HA ! OH MY GOD !! ”
T_T
( Unless, that reminds me of my big brother , Dui Zhang )
Oh my.. She keeps eating and eating that fish after talking with her .
Alot of people say fish makes u smart but I can’t see it!! I rarely eat seafood though because I got food poisoning one time from eating shrimp! SO GROSS!!
OMO!
@KIZZ: There shouldn’t be a problem if you change your WordPress username. Go for it! I like having seafood on certain occasions. I got food poisoning once from eating shrimps as well!!! I think it was back in 2004-2005. It was terrible! It took me a whole week to recover from that incident. My stomach wouldn’t let me take in anything and my body became so weak, that I had to lay in bed most of the time. The only thing that I could have was an electrolyte drink so that I wouldn’t dehydrate. I felt like my entire system had turned upside down from that food poisoning incident >_<
@Susan: Are you feeling better? Your mum said that the same thing as Kris' mum! =P I eat a lot of fish! The Omega-3 fatty acids that are in fish are supposed to be good for the skin and for tackling diseases or other problems.
Replying gets difficult, there are too many messages LOL.
I had also heard about Kris coming back but I wasn’t sure whether it’d be appropriate to post since it wasn’t confirmed but OMG HE’S BACK !!!! *dances in joy* Sorry about the capital letters but I’m excited ! I think missed out on all the tumblr flood of his pictures while I was sleeping though. He looks good ! There were way too many fangirls as usual but it didn’t seem as bad as before ?
I’ll answer you about Paris ! ^^ Later though, I just wanted to drop by to share then news ^^
Now that “bad” thing about him being back is that I can already imagine fangirls camping in all the airports he’ll have to go to and I sincerely hope they saw what happened in China and understand he needs some SPACE !
Yes ! Evelili !!! He needs PRIVACY !!!! Don’t worry, he will be fine
To dearest moonlight : I’m OK sis … and feeling much better when he return back ! I just want
him safely and bring healthy smile to everyone of us .
Out of all the members, he’s probably the one who “handles” fangirls best since he’s very tall and oozes charisma LOL but it’s not like he can do anything if he’s surrounded >.< Anyway, fangirls apparently made a humain chain so he wouldn't be squeezed but seeing some pictures, it looked like a swarm of bees nevertheless … I read fanaccounts and some of them said even men turned around and took pictures of Kris because he was too handsome haha.
@Susan: Glad that you’re feeling better! ^^
@Evelili: You’re right. Kris just has to deal with it =P Also, rather than forming a human chain to protect him, it would have been better if fans just watched from afar. I feel like there is probably too much pressure on Kris to even express how he truly feels at times.
All the uncles sound like they find Kris really handsome…I’m not surprised. Also, the fact that so many fans were present at the airport and were continuously taking photos, others must have gotten curious and started taking photos as well. That’s just how the human mind works…as seen in the fake celeb. video that I had posted under this post before.
Just a personal experience: I remember when I was in Malaysia waiting for a cable car to go up to the mountains and all the people standing in line were Vietnamese and Chinese tourists. There were about 100 people or more waiting in line. One Chinese tourist was a man and he asked my brother if he could take a photo with him. The reason that he wanted to take a photo with my brother was that he thought that he resembled Ricardo Kaka. Next moment, one very pretty Vietnamese girl asked if she could take a photo with me. I was surprised and then I said, “Sure!” After that, I asked if I could take a photo with her to keep as a memory. Later on, a Chinese lady asked to take a photo with me. I took a photo with her from my own cam. as well xD
Everyone else that was standing in line became very curious as to why these ladies were taking photos with me. As a result, the people waiting in line started taking photos of me with their cellphones. It became full-on paparazzi! One girl took photos of me non-stop without my permission! I got slightly annoyed that I took out my camera and started taking photos of her as well. We were taking photos of each other for a few seconds. Hahaha! I didn’t know how to react. It was really awkward, but nevertheless an interesting experience. It goes to show how the human mind works at times, “If everyone is doing it, then I should do that too!” I honestly don’t want to experience something like that again, though! =P
I heard that in Japan, a lot of people ask to take pictures with foreigners, so I’m guessing that it could relate to my experience as it must have been the first time that the people waiting in line probably saw a Pakistani.
Your experience is pretty interesting LOL I would have told them clearly to stop taking pictures because it’s rude
It happens a lot in Asian countries because they don’t see foreigners very often ! Sometimes, they won’t even ask for your permission to take a picture though
But some of them are nice
A lot of my friends went to China for an short school exchange and most of them were French. People would take pictures with them, like families with children would ask for a picture ^^ Another friend of mine went to Cambodia and Thailand, she’s very pretty and has all the features Asian people like I guess ?, anyway people would stop and stare at her, take pictures and so on .. I think she liked the attention so it didn’t bother her that much ^^
There are about 78 comments (not counting this one) under this post right now. Didn’t expect to have this many! xD
Everyone was reblogging like crazy on Tumblr. I knew that Kris would be back! =P
To be honest, I actually kind of feel sick from seeing the over-craze. I just feel like it’s not normal. You know that gut feeling that tells you that all the hype must be wrong? Yes, I feel it at times. I don’t know…maybe because most of the free time that we spend could be devoted to God or other meaningful things rather than another human being that we don’t know personally. I can say that I love Kris’ image, but I can never bring myself to say that I love Kris like other fan girls do. Why? Simply because we don’t really know him no matter how awesome of an image he has =/
Yep, that’s a lot of comments indeed … I’m actually surprised you don’t have more comments with all your Kris posts ^^
I take back what I said, I was also caught in the Kris spam on Tumblr =.=”
I totally understand what you mean, (did I sound like a over-excited fangirl in my last comment ?) and I often wonder why I’m even so “invested” in Exo when I will probably never meet them or anything. It’s really cool that you’re still pragmatic after all the stuff you’ve posted about Kris ^^
I never feel good when I see all the fangirls at the airports … let alone those who especially buy a plane ticket to be on his flight O.o I mean, that even caused a delay for the flight for God’s sake !
Staying at an appropriate distance from him would have been better but it must feel so awkward, imagine fangirls forming a neat circle around him while he’s doing his things (it’s still better than having them squeezed onto him) ! I once watched a fancam of Luhan in the airport, he was all alone on his bench while waiting for the others and he looked so lost and awkward T.T because there were so many people filming his every move while not approaching or talking to him … It is a part of their idol life and they can’t escape it but I wish they didn’t have to go through that.
I do think it’s wrong to be so infatuated with an image but it’s not always a bad thing for fans since some of them did some good deeds like charity, as Exo fans. Now the question is, why wouldn’t they do it by themselves without involving Exo, but that’s something good nevertheless.
As for loving him or not, I think it’s just a language thing. Loving doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone and some people use that word more sporadically than others (the same thing goes with cursing, I’m not saying cursing is OK of course). I’m pretty sure I have already used the word “love” while talking about Exo but that doesn’t mean I’m not aware that what we see is only an image. I might be thinking too much into this but that’s my take on the subject
All of this craze reminds me of my reaction to some crazy Justin Bieber fans. Why do they like him so much ? what’s with all the hype ? etc. Now that I’m myself “part of” a fandom, I might have a less objective view on that…
Sorry about that super long comment that wasn’t really organized, it sounded better in my head >.<
Most people that visit blogs are generally silent readers. Very few people actually comment. I even read this in a social media marketing book just recently at the bookstore xD Some people are quite shy or they may simply not have the time to comment =P Furthermore, most fans of EXO are on Tumblr and are not really familiar with navigating around WordPress, I guess.
When I said reblogging posts, I meant the ones in which there are comments that are slightly exaggerated – where people start praising someone as if they are God. I don’t like it when people call Kris, “Krisus”. I find it offensive. I’ve mentioned this to people, who are not fans of K-Pop but know about K-Pop, since they were curious about the whole fan culture, and they were also shocked. It’s not nice to make jokes out of religion like that.
No, no…you didn’t sound like an overly excited fan =P I have to be pragmatic. There’s a saying that I stumbled upon recently. One of the steps to happiness is to “never invest too much emotion at one thing because if you do you will end up hurting yourself.” Let’s face it, a lot of us fans invest a lot of emotion towards a particular bias. What will happen to fans when they find out that their bias has a girlfriend? What if he ends up in a scandal (God forbid), which is very typical of the entertainment world? Most fans would be very hurt.
I’ve already made the decision that I will not go to the airport if Kris ever comes here =P I don’t like to be caught in crowds, that’s why. Plus, I don’t think I would be able to see anything if a lot of tall people ended up going! xD I was surprised that fans bought a plane ticket to be on Dui Zhang’s flight. The money that was used to buy a plane ticket could have been spent on something else. It’s like people are forcing themselves to be closer to him =P
I saw pictures of when Luhan traveled alone. He really did look like a lost puppy and it looked like he was struggling with all the fan gifts in his hands! He must have been slightly confused on how to react.
My parents said that entertainment companies put their celebrities in a state of confusion, particularly if they are young, and also put fans in a state of confusion. I can guarantee you that our biases are probably in a state of confusion at times and contemplate whether the celebrity life is worth it or not. Remember when Luhan mentioned that the members often have to think twice about how they look in public after debut and how he and Lay have deep conversations about happiness at night? It’s evident that they probably question their current state from time to time.
It’s a vicious cycle in which you, alone, whether you’re a fan or a celebrity, need to have the willpower to leave. It’s hard to leave because celebrities get addicted to having fans love them. This is what you call addiction to fame. They get so used to the attention that there is a fear that if it were to all end, the happiness that came from the attention would no longer be present. It’s like the popular kid in high school getting all the attention for a while, but once everyone grows up and moves on with their life, that attention no longer exists. In contrast, it’s hard for fans to leave because they like the temporary happiness and escapism from reality that comes from investing time on a particular object. Fans also don’t know what to do or how to react when they finally see their bias. There is so much confusion at that point, that sometimes being rationale no longer exists.
It’s this whole division between the role of being a celebrity and the role of being a fan that causes this confusion. Who creates this division? Humans.
Life is supposed to be simple, but people make it very complicated. If things were to be simple, as God has said that everyone is created equal, then we wouldn’t have to be thinking about these things deeply.
I’ve also wondered why fans do charity work under EXO’s name rather than doing charity work themselves. It’s much better than expensive fan gifts, though. Did you know that B.A.P went one step further and did charity work under their fans’ (Babyz) name? I found that really sweet! ^^
About the whole love thing…there is no problem in being a fan and saying, “I love them!”, but when a fan says, “I am deeply in love with him”/”He is my everything”/”I can’t live without his smile”, and end up crying because of their bias’ perfect image…that’s a problem! =P I mean…girl…wake up and smell the coffee.
People that are not into K-Pop think that K-Pop fans are just as crazy as Justin Bieber or One Direction fans =P They don’t understand all the hype and it’s mainly because they haven’t become victims of it. Sometimes I wish I could be like them and not give a hoot about all this show-bizz stuff.
Don’t worry, my previous comment sounds like mumbo jumbo after I read it thoroughly =P
You know, I was going to request that Dui Zhang should give out chocolates to his fans some time, but it totally slipped my mind…and the funny thing is that today he is giving out chocolates to his fans…and that too Forrero Rocher chocolates, which I occasionally buy xD It’s White Day today. Nobody gave me any chocolates! This is not fair! =P
That’s right, I only started to comment on blogs/websites recently because I was just too lazy … but I’m sure bloggers appreciate when people comment because they won’t feel that they are talking to no one ? Blog stats are there to answer that question but still ^^
Now I feel a bit stupid because I never understood why Kris was called Krisus =.= it didn’t occur to me that it had to do with religion, I thought it had something to do with the rich Cresus …
I’d be happy to know that my bias has a girlfriend LOL
I wouldn’t go to the airport either, it’s not really my thing but idols do appreciate when their fans welcome them at the airport, especially when it’s a foreign country because that’s a way to know how popular they are. I also dislike too crowded places T.T (I sometimes feel so suffocated when I go to Hong Kong or big asian cities)
They must question their lifestyle and it’s sad to see them mention how they can’t do anything freely anymore
Young celebrities are probably aware of the cons of the industry when they start out but they probably don’t realize how much they’ll lose out.
We all need things to look up to and being always rational and humble is hard. Religion may fulfill that part for some but that’s not the case for everyone.
I didn’t know about B.A.P. and their charity work ! that’s so cool !
” I mean…girl…wake up and smell the coffee.” This made me laugh so much LOL. I get your point and I agree ^.^ I wonder if people actually cry IRL when they say so (probably not always, otherwise there’s something really wrong with that). I don’t know if it’s because my “crying point” is high but I can’t imagine myself crying over idols ? I may feel sad when I see some fanmade videos (so much talent !) that depict their hardships but that’s about it.
I’d probably freeze as well if I met EXO haha. and by the time I get my senses back, the manager would have probably ushered me out or something
I just though about something. The reason why we can be so pragmatic about him might be that we never met him IRL, you know, he’s just pictures and videos for us. Fans who see him regularly feel closer and more emotionally attached ? I don’t know, it was just a thought ^^
Isn’t White Day only celebrated in a few asian countries ? No one except anime geeks (which I admit I used to be) knows about it here ^.^
I read the chocolates were actually given by a fan LOL (not sure if it’s really true) Either way, Kris is just so nice :3 who wouldn’t be wavered by so much attention to his fans ?
I love Ferrero Rochers, during the year end festivities, there were a few boxes pilled up in my living room and my family and I ate them all. It’s really a guilty pleasure of mine LOL. I never buy them myself because otherwise I’d be eating that all year long =P
And about the exaggerated comments, I also believe it’s a mere difference of language. I saw he was referred as a “God” sometimes but it’s probably only an expression that doesn’t go any deeper (although it raises concerns about idealization). In my opinion, people who use these kinds of words to worship him don’t believe themselves in religions or aren’t that involved with it, which is why they use it casually
It would only shock those for whom religion is a very serious matter and omnipresent in their life and it’s only a supposition, but I don’t think they constitue the majority of the fandom. Again, religion is a sensitive subject I’d rather not tackle ^^
It is still a bit disturbing to see people nickname Kris like that now that I understand where it comes from :s
Btw, did you read that article on Seoulbeats about Exo fans ?
Oh no …moonlight ……….. beware of sea foods and please, take care of your health next time when you eat shrimp again !!! Sometimes, my face got allergic too ! That’s terrible !!!
Don’t worry, Susan! I’ll be more careful next time, iA. Thanks for caring! ^^
About Paris, you’re right, everything is pretty expensive >.< but the city is very pretty :3 well, the central districts that is ^.^ Sometimes, I'd go to all the touristic places and pretend to be one for fun. There are so many hidden places in Paris, so many gems no one knows about …
The weather in Paris isn't exactly sunny but it's better than England :p
I've lived here for so long and yet, there's so much I don't know about Paris ! Let alone, France ! As weird as it seems, I haven't been able to travel much in France, I often go to Asia and I've been to the States as well but I haven't visited Europe except for a few mediterranean islands … I should though since it's so easy to cross the frontier nowadays in the European Union !
There are many tourists that visit the UAE, but whenever I was out about while studying over there, I pretended to be a tourist for fun as well! xD
The weather in England is nice in the summer, but I’ve noticed that it rains alot!
It’s lovely that you get to discover something new about Paris everyday. I’m also sure that there are several art exhibitions throughout the year that are worth seeing.
You should definitely visit the European countries nearby you. Have you been to Monaco, by any chance?
Sometimes it feels like I could go on and on talking about that but no one who could make a difference would know about it and it’s just a waste of time
but I like talking to you so I guess you’ll have to bear with me and my unending comments
(but you’re so nice and you answer all the comments !)
That’s true. We don’t need to rush things, if something’s bound to happen and it will happen .
In the right time, with the right person and for the best reason.
And I have no ideas why his crazy fans did that in the airport ?
They don’t understand his sistuation and not behave like human beings …
Is so hard to control all of them : P
I would feel sick and disappointed if they do next time again …
It’s probably going to happen almost every time they go an airport though. Even if some of them are respectful enough to stand further away, they’ll always be some of them who’ll always want to be closer and closer
Awww, thanks, Evelili! ^^ I like talking to you too. I’m sorry about forgetting to answer this comment! >_<
it’s alright hehe.
Aye…Evelili , I have no idea …
I suddenly became your fan,sis…
)
(of course Kris is still on top of you in my list, hahaha..
I really love the way you relate everything about Kris and life… when you add the Quran verses, it is like complete and holistic…
Thank you, EvenstaRiffa! <3
As for your list, how can Kris be before me? I consider you as a friend, not a fan, and I am able to talk to you like a friend. Kris can't do that =P
