After typing up the post on Dui Zhang‘s absence last night, I suddenly remembered reading a fan account of when EXO were having their promotions in Thailand around late July, 2012. The first thing that struck me when I read that fan account was what Dui Zhang had stated…

I suddenly asked, “What does Kris mean by when ‘he is gone’? Where are you going Kris!? o.O” (click here to see the fan account – I reblogged it on Tumblr 6 months).
Is that supposed to be some sort of premonition? Did Kris really know that he was going to be away from his 11 brothers at some point? It has been 17 days since anyone has seen him outside of SME’s building, whereas his fellow members have been seen outside the building every now and then. There has been only one fan account of Kris being spotted in front of the building and that was three days ago, but nobody really knows.
All I can deduce from this is that maybe Kris has been given an offer to act or be part of a CF in China =P He was definitely sick, from the photos that we last saw of him at the airport, but as mentioned before, he must have also been in Guangzhou for the Lunar New Year.
Also, EXO is supposed to have their comeback soon, so why would Dui Zhang be absent from practices for so long unless there was something else that was very important? Hmmm…
Anyhow, I reblogged the fan account for the second time, which is today, and it seems like it’s picking up a few notes as I type =P
Maybe I pay too much attention to details on what Dui Zhang says… Just like his fellow members say, that when Dui Zhang reads something, it stays in his mind for a long time. The same happens to me too. I kind of have a photographic memory. ^^’
Unless Dui Zhang had something planned or knew about something all along, it’s rather strange for him to mention out-of-the-blue that he hopes that others would be able to take care of themselves when he is gone.

If only I could look as cool as Dui Zhang while sitting and chilling on my own in public =P What is your secret to ‘looking cool’, Kris? xD I like his casual style in the pic., especially the t-shirt. I used to have a similar shirt, but I gave it away. I have a cap like his, though! ^^
Moreover, what’s with Ryan Jhun teasing EXO fans about the group’s comeback? Stop teasing fans! =P
Speaking of ‘chilling’, I’m not supposed to be blogging during this busy moment. I’ve been out and about looking for an apartment to rent. Don’t even get me started on the one that I saw yesterday…there were 6 Chinese university students renting it. When I visited it, there were only 2 Chinese guys and 1 Chinese girl present. They were so casual while we were looking at their apartment.
One of the Chinese guys was lying down in his room while reading a book and the other one was sitting on the ground in another room and staring at the laptop in front of him like L from the anime, Death Note. His eyes were literally glued to the screen. He was watching some Mainland Chinese program and was so absorbed by the program that he only noticed us when my dad asked, “May I check the view from your window?” As for the Chinese girl, she was sitting in her room and reading something in her hands. If someone came to my apartment for the purpose of looking around and wanting to rent, I would probably be dressed and not casually lying around in my room…that’s just real awkward to me! Hahahaha!
The most awkward moment was when I came to Sydney and entered an apartment that was displayed for looking at without realizing that there would be people in it. I just casually walked in and then suddenly saw four university guys playing video games in the lounge and they all just stopped when I entered. There was dead silence for about two seconds. I just turned around and quickly walked out. I waited for my parents to appear and then took a look around the apartment.
Most apartments that I have seen and that have been occupied by students are not clean at all. With many students in one apartment…what do you expect? I would feel sorry for the person that is extremely picky about cleanliness and has to live with messy people.
I’m also sorry to say this, but most guys are lazy when it comes to cleaning! I’ve heard of all sorts of stories from a few of my friends about the Chinese guys that they have to share an apartment with. They say that the girls are clean, but the guys are too lazy to even pick their plates up and put them in the sink after eating. o.O
Why am I even sharing stories about my personal life? I guess I’m lazy to make a separate post. I just want to keep these funny moments as a memory xD
What was I talking about again? Oh, right…Dui Zhang =P You know how there is that old cartoon called, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and Where’s Wally/Waldo? For me, it’s Where in the World is Dui Zhang Kris and Where’s Kris/Kevin? ^^’

NO, NO, NO!! I hope Kris is not going leaving on what I call “the secret note” if he is, im going to be UPSET!! if he is going to try out for some actor or something, I would hope that he will still be with EXO!! imma be honest Tao is my bias of EXO but I <3 Kris as a brotherly type:) and just a suggestion: don't move in with lazy roomates!! trust me its awful………..and good luck finding u a nice apartment girl!! "movin' on up like the jeffersons huh?" LOL (by the way, if u don't know who the jeffersons are, its a very old sitcom that used to come on alot)
I don’t think he’s leaving EXO. He may have something else lined up. I feel that EXO’s comeback might be delayed. How can they have a comeback when Dui Zhang hasn’t been attending any of the practices? He’s not even the best dancer or singer, hence it would be strange for SME to immediately have a comeback once he appears from wherever he is…unless SME already made EXO practice for their comeback since ages ago and are simply waiting for the perfect time for it to happen.
You never know what these entertainment companies are up to. They may have deliberately done this so that people can keep wondering and waiting in order for the anticipation to build up and the hype to be huge. Ah, well…I just hope Kris is fine, whether he is still sick or not, or wherever he is. Furthermore, for Kris to update his RenRen with the location, Guangzhou…that’s real sly =P I bet he knew that people would be talking about it, as no one had seen him near SME’s building for days.
Although the photo collage of Kris in Guangzhou circulating around recently consists of old pics. that were taken months ago, I just have this strange feeling that maybe he was there or somewhere else. I don’t know… If he was out and about in Korea, fans would have definitely known about it. I don’t think he would be stuck in his dorm all this time…that’s not healthy at all.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’m going to be with my brother, so it’s okay. Sharing an apartment with other people that have an entirely different lifestyle would be hard, especially if there are guys, because in my religion and culture, it is strictly forbidden for a girl and guy, who are not married or related, to be living together. Of course, there are certain situations where it’s just not possible to live alone due to high rent and other issues.
Always look at two things in a home to know if someone staying in it is civilized: their washroom and their kitchen! =P
I know about “The Jeffersons” ^^ Old-school TV shows…gotta miss ‘em!

I’ve been following EXO since their first teaser and heard news about them since mid-2011, hence the many posts (maybe a bit too much? xD). Kris knows A LOT about his fans…well, more like what they say or think about EXO. Trust me. One of his hobbies is going online, so I’m sure that he likes to read what fans of EXO discuss =P It’s funny that I ended up writing blog posts about a member of EXO that apparently likes to go online. I sometimes forget that Kris could be reading… I get carried away with my opinions and thoughts without realizing it. Hahaha! Kris is a human being after all, he goes online just like the rest of the human population that has access to the Internet, so it’s not really a big deal xD

Kris has the crew cut…typical style that I see military personnel have on my flight while traveling from an Arab country to the States. My patriotic cousins in Pakistan also have the same haircut xD
By the way, Kris is traveling AGAIN and the picture that you have posted is of him at the airport. I thought he would be staying in Vancouver/Richmond a bit longer. Such a short stay… I wonder where he is off to now.
I’ve noticed that Kris has been wearing black clothes a lot these days. Is he trying to reconnect with his old self?
Speaking of this, I read a guy’s blog and he sounds just like Kris! The guy is Chinese and has the same age, birth name, interests, and hobbies as Kris (basketball was his past passion, likes sleeping, enjoys freedom, listens to “ghetto” music, likes children and animals, listens to G-Dragon and songs by other K-Pop artists, has been to Korea, visits relatives, and he likes reading and this includes a book by an author that Kris has a read a book from). It’s crazy…and the thing is that he isn’t Kris but he sounds just like him. Seeing that, I can finally say that life is REALLY strange ’cause the guy is real but he isn’t Kris. The only difference between him and Kris is that he is a business/marketing major like me xD I should probably update that in the latest post on Kris ’cause I thought that was interesting.
I just saw that Kris is back in Hong Kong – already?? I hope he had a restful time at home. Considering what a big deal it was when he arrived in Vancouver, how did he slip back to Hong Kong just like that? Sly Duizhang!
His look is so totally different now. I wonder if it will change again for EXO’s comeback – you never know for sure if what we see at the present is what it will be, right? I kind of don’t like that whole gangster culture/look – too mean and aggressive for me.
Kris mentioned that he is going back to Guangzhou and that he will be back in South Korea next month. Apparently, Kris went to Canada to renew his visa (similar to what my brother and I had to do when going back home to Saudi Arabia a few months ago…but we went to visit as well xD). I don’t think family matters was the sole reason Kris went back home to Canada. If he is a private person, he wouldn’t tell the fandom about it, but who knows? Maybe it was a way to just market himself and get people talking ’cause I don’t think family matters can be settled in just three or four days, and that too after someone in the family has had a long journey.
Dui Zhang is real sly, that’s for sure! =P I don’t really mind his new haircut, but I can see what you mean. Dui Zhang seems to look more like his pre-debut self when he was a trainee with dark hair. He is known for looking intimidating and unapproachable when people first meet him…even Tao mentioned that in an interview. Dui Zhang looks a lot like the animated figure in the picture that I edited in the post on how it would be like to meet my ultimate bias in person (http://asparkofmoonlight.wordpress.com/2013/02/02/when-i-imagine-meeting-my-ultimate-bias/) xD
I have a feeling that maybe Kris’ hairstyle will change for the comeback. After all, I’ve never seen a K-Pop star with a crew cut on stage =P
Oh, I see. You are probably right since you had to do the same thing with your Visa. I do also believe Kris is more calculating and sly than he lets on. His public persona seems quite mature for his young age.
You seem to gravitate towards leaders, huh? Onew? I love his voice and his perennial smiley face and eyes!
Kris was out and about getting things done on his own during his stay in Canada, so I think he is very mature and responsible in that sense. Leaders have responsibility, and I guess that’s one of the traits that I like. However, I think it’s more about the personality and similarity that makes me like a particular member in a group. Onew loves chicken just as much as I do and I’ve never met anyone else in real that has a similar liking as mine xD
On a random note, I’m looking outside my window right now, which is facing the balcony, and a Chinese student in the apartment in front of mine has the same hairstyle as Kris and is just walking back and forth in the yard thinking very deeply xD I love the view from my balcony…It’s peaceful yet lively. I can watch people walking around, and sometimes at night, I can see some students washing dishes in their apartments. I know that I’m being watched whenever I am out in the balcony too.
