Anyhow, my friends really like No Min Woo, but for some reason I don't find him very attractive =/ He has done a lot of plastic surgery =( You should see him when he was part of the band TRAX. He had the stage name, Rose, back then. He also looked different and it's hard to imagine that he is the same person now xD He is a really good drummer.

Yes, No Min Woo’s looks were different when he was in TRAX. Hahahaha. For some reason, I used to imagine Kris to have been in this kind of boy group (he’s got the Angry Bird eyebrows and he had long black hair =P).
I wonder if Kris was into rock or rap music before he joined SME. I’m really curious ’cause seeing his high school photos, he doesn’t seem like the kind of person that would be into rap music. The guys that I knew in my middle school that listened to rap music had a very different aura and style. Then again, you can’t really judge a person by appearance ’cause I used to listen to a lot of rock and heavy-metal music and no one could ever guess =P I tried asking his high school friend from Vancouver that left a comment underneath a video of Kris on YouTube about the kind of music Kris listened to, but I think his friend stopped replying to questions from fans ’cause there were too many. Even if his friend did answer, I don’t think he would have known ’cause he didn’t seem to be very close to Kris…just someone that knew him from being on the same basketball team as him, I guess. Amber said that she used to listen to a lot of rock music before she joined SME, but now it’s a whole different story =P She does listen to rock music from time to time, though.
I used to play the recorder and keyboard/piano when I was in middle school. It was compulsory as it was part of my music class. However I stopped playing both instruments as soon as I completed those classes. A few years passed by and then I started playing the guitar in high school. I stopped after my Senior year and haven’t touched my guitar ever since =P I’m not musically gifted. I know how to read musical notes and I am fast at learning some things, but I just feel like there is too much effort that needs to be put into it =P I’ve tried playing the drums before and I actually enjoyed it.
On the other hand, my brother is musically gifted, mashAllah. When he hears a song, he can play it on the piano or guitar without even reading the musical notes for it. He creates his own music too ^^

Hahahaha! It’s alright. Everyone has different tastes and preferences. TRAX have completely changed their style and only Jay and Jung-mo decided to stick together.
TRAX had a bit of J-Rock influence back then. They promoted in Japan and I think they were quite popular there in comparison to South Korea.
I’m not really sure why No Min Woo left SME, but I just looked up some info. online and I read that he didn’t want to be part of a band anymore and wanted to pursue his passion as a hobby. I guess he didn’t like SME’s strict control on their music artists being creative. Anyone that would want to “pursue his passion as a hobby” wouldn’t want to make their passion be something burdensome or tiring.
I haven’t really seen many videos of No Min Woo singing or rocking it out on the guitar and drums until you mentioned it. Hahaha! Yes, he’s really good!
Also, I haven’t watched Full House Take 2…maybe I should check it out.

You know what? I didn’t buy the ticket to the Super Asia Showcase where EXOM will be performing cause I’m afraid I might have exams on that day plus traveling to Kuala Lumpur takes about 3-4 hours.
So I decided to go stay in the hotel where EXOM will be staying. After all, I would need a place to stay if i’m there. I was just planning to see them at the airport but I don’t think that will be easy. Hoping to get a chance to meet them ^^

When I first saw No Min Woo’s old videos, I thought to myself that Moonlight must really like rocker person. Yes yes, he is super talented. Even his acting skills.

By the way, I’ll tell you a secret…well, it’s not really a secret, but my bias before Kris was Siwan of ZE:A =P He plays the violin and is also a really good actor. His electric violin sounds kind of out-of-tune in the beginning, but it gets better.
My best friends got to meet him at a fan signing event and even got his autograph. Apparently, I was the one that introduced the group, ZE:A, to them and they were the ones that ended up seeing them xD I guess it wasn’t my destiny/fate.

Yes, my friends who are from Dubai and Abu Dhabi got to see ZE:A. The only member that was missing at the fansigning event was Kwanghee…and he is one of the main characters that starred in “To the Beautiful You” xD
Siwan is one of those members like Luhan, who is good at both singing and dancing. He is also the ‘Fashion King’ of ZE:A like Kris is the ‘Fashion King’ of EXO ^^ Siwan is one of two members in ZE:A that can speak in English, but he is not fluent in it. He studied the language when he was attending university. Furthermore, he used to study mechanical engineering in a really good university in Busan, but quit to pursue a career in entertainment. He was actually known as a very smart student in high school.
I like ZE:A’s Japanese songs such as, “Daily Daily” and “Phoenix”. Their Korean songs are a bit light and fun to listen to…nothing really loud like most K-Pop songs. In general, ZE:A is not really popular like most groups, but they have their own charm and have been through a lot during their trainee years. For instance, the members didn’t have enough money to eat properly when they used to be trainees. Apart from that, I like the fact that ZE:A has a member from Sydney. His name is Kevin. It’s nice to see an Aussie person in K-Pop for a change ^^’

How does this trainee thing work anyway? I thought they go and audition, get accepted and undergo training with food, transport and a place to stay provided. So basically they pay fees to train themselves to be famous? Is it same for all the entertainment company in Korea?
Yes, the one that picks on Sulli. Hahaha! He is quite a comedian in real life =P
The training process is slightly different in each company. There are those that get in through auditions, whereas others are scouted. For example, Siwan was spotted at a singing competition and then asked to join Star Empire Entertainment.
Not every entertainment company has a lot of money. The big three, such as SME, YGE, and JYP, have tons of money so they are able to cover for a trainee’s food, transport, rent, and other expenses. However, once the trainee debuts, he/she will have to pay back that money from whatever earnings he/she receives from album sales, CFs, etc. This may take a year or more, which is what I believe the members of EXO are currently doing. If the trainee leaves the entertainment company during the training process out of his/her own will, then he/she will have to pay back the debt that he/she has incurred. This makes it difficult for a trainee to leave if he/she doesn’t have enough money. However, from what I’ve heard, if the company doesn’t see any potential in a trainee and kicks him/her out, then that trainee doesn’t have to pay for any of the expenses.
In regards to paying fees to train themselves, SOME do. SM Academy probably accepts fees for singing and dancing lessons.
As for small entertainment companies like Star Empire Entertainment, they don’t have a lot of money like the the Big 3. In order to make the debut of a group cost-effective, they will have to cut down on expenses and this may include food. From what I’ve seen in a show on ZE:A before they debuted was that the members were mainly surviving on food, or small snacks, from convenience stores.

Talk about meet someone on board, I met BigBang when returning to Malaysia yesterday from Manilla. I wanna greet them at first but give up on my intention coz they look exhausted. I wish they get enough rest during the journey.

Meanwhile, have you heard the incident happened to Kris while in Nanjing, China? I was in airport crew lounge when heard about this, am speechless! All I can say: to those who going to attend today’s event, please put the boys’ safety as your first priority!
The event was good, but it started quite late compared to what I had expected. I was the first one that reached the venue xD I’m happy that it was a nice and sunny day for taking pictures and videos ^^
I heard that the shooting was for SNSD’s MV, but I’m not too sure about that. The only person that was supposedly spotted near the Han River was Luhan. I don’t know if the person in the picture that people say is Luhan really is Luhan. The person had black hair, but the following day Luhan was seen with his usual brown hair. Maybe the person is an SME trainee. A few trainees of SME were spotted in the K-Drama, “To the Beautiful You”, and from what I saw, some of them are just as handsome as the members of EXO. About EXO’s comeback, Dui Zhang said that they are in the process of recording.

I heard about someone throwing a gift at Kris and he got hurt. Fans were desperate to give gifts to him since his birthday is drawing near. They could have done it in a respectful manner. EXO-M was literally surrounded by an ocean of fans once again. This time the ocean had lots of gifts floating around =P I really don’t like crowds where there is pushing and shoving…that’s why I’m not too sure if I would want to attend one of EXO’s fan signing events if the opportunity ever arises. At the same time I wouldn’t want to miss out on the opportunity. Hmm, I’ll have to think twice about it =P
I just wish fans were more polite and civil towards one another. I heard about the incident at KCON and it’s really disappointing at what people can do to one another just to have their inner desire fulfilled. I read a fan account about a mother and her child that were stuck in the crowd and one fan noticed and was kind enough to help them out…the rest didn’t even care. It’s scary! How can people be so cold? It’s okay to admire your favorite celeb., but this is turning into something that one could call “suffocating love”.
By the way, did you see that there was a lot of security for EXO-M on the day of the Yangtze River Music Festival? I guess after the incident at the hotel in Nanjing, there was a need for tight security. I really wish it didn’t have to be that way, but what can you do when people turn wild? *sigh*

It is actually very hard for me to keep up with things that involve Kris, because this guy is showing too much of a good side, which is not a bad thing at all, but it's really hard to let go when you want to or feel like you should =P I don't really have much more to say…I think I'm out of words. For instance, Kris keeps surprising us like he did yesterday when he performed aegyo again and sang Sandy Lam's song, "At Least I Still Have You". When I saw that, I really did not have anything to say xD
I think I should let all the other fans do the talking now… some of them have been reading Kris' eyes and saying that when he sang the song, it seemed like it had some sort of deep meaning for him. I actually saw him lip sync to this song in the show “Extremely Extraordinary” and he looked quite sad. I made my friends listen to the song as well. Now that Kris sang a few lines of the song in a very meaningful manner, I think this song is too emotional for me to listen to. I had to listen to an upbeat song right after that. I feel like it's going to be hard for me to make a post on this 'magical' creature's expression of gratitude.
