EXO Kris’ Never-Ending Fashion Show

Yes, Kris…you look beautiful!

I think Kris has been taking his airport fashion very seriously… In fact, he has been taking his fashion sense seriously to the extent that he even dresses up for a trip to the supermarket.

Do you seriously need to dress up in semi-formal clothes for a supermarket? Chincha!? =P All I do is grab my hoodie and head out to the grocery store. This thought occasionally crosses my mind:

True story…

Then again, there is a quote by Coco Chanel that says that one should dress like they are having a date with destiny. However, I don’t think I have the inclination of dressing up semi-formally just for a 15 minute trip to the grocery store and back to my apartment xD I do not see any point in it. Nevertheless, I am sure that every day is a significant day for Kris and hence, the reason for him always looking prim and proper.

In case some of you are wondering how our lovely friends manage to get really nice looking photos taken of them wherever they are, especially at the airport, the situation is that they are trained to work on their angles and subtly pose in a manner that would give off the best results. It’s all about displaying the best angles of your appearance so that your photos can turn out nice. I wish someone would teach me which angles to work on =P I’m pretty sure that there are some help tips online. The answer to many of life’s questions, if not all, are on the Internet xD

There was a time when I kept saying that Kris seems like a person that loves wearing black clothes and is fond of looking gansgta or trying to “live the thug life”…but after his debut, I can hear him say, “YO! TRY AND LOOK AS GOOD AS ME NOW – I’M FABULOUS!” Good one Dui Zhang, good one…

I’m wondering, how many blazers does Kris really have? Is that what he usually buys on his shopping trips around Seoul? I’m so jealous that he is in a place where he can actually buy nice clothes while I’m here in Australia where it is difficult to find high-quality clothes and where the prices are double the amount compared to most parts of the world. No kidding…the price of an outfit that one would find at H&M (there isn’t any here, but I’m using this as an example) would be double the amount that he/she would find in any other country! I don’t see the point in buying clothes here when there is a shopping haven with European and American fashion being sold at a much cheaper price back where I live in the Middle East. Anyhow, Kris seems to have several blazers, but I have noted that he mixes and matches them with other outfits that he occasionally wears.

I have also been looking for dark and light khaki colored jeans for over a year for some of my tops and can’t find any =( I don’t weary skinny jeans…I think that’s the reason I can’t find any -_- Skinny jeans may be in style, but I don’t always follow fashion trends. I believe the fashion industry should be aware of this as to cater to people that have particular preferences. If the food industry can make fruit and nut Cadbury chocolate, white Cadbury chocolate, hazelnut Cadbury chocolate, etc….then I’m sure that the fashion industry can make a colored denim line that does not consist of the skinny jean style only.

Well, keep looking fabulous Kris! =P

On a random note, when EXO-M were leaving to Shanghai, Kris had a video camera in his hands. Are they going sight-seeing? xD It reminds me of the incident when Chanyeol was recording EXO‘s fans while shopping around in London. I see where they got their idea from =P

Also, all of these presents that the members of EXO get while traveling back and forth…it’s like every day is their flippin’ birthday. Dui Zhang always has tons of presents in his hands. When I think deeply about it, I always picture a child in poverty that doesn’t get a birthday present on his/her birthday. I think it’s weird that celebs. get expensive presents from people like us that should be donating to charity, instead =/ Letters and hand-made things are fine, but I feel uncomfortable with the fact that people would give expensive presents to someone they don’t know at a personal level and is already earning money by being famous.

Sometimes I think humanity has completely lost it when they give money to the people that already have money or are rich, but hardly give any to those that actually need it =( I like EXO-M and other K-Pop groups, but there is a limit. It’s nice that people want to show their love and support, but the feats they take to demonstrate that can be just down-right ridiculous and irrational at times.

Moreover, some of the fans that take photos of Kris and the other members of EXO on several occasions should get paid by SM Entertainment. I always see photos of Kris from the same people. I don’t know how they manage to make the effort of getting up early in the morning or whatever time of the day it is to track down the members of EXO and take photos of them at airports or other events in several different cities. Seriously, where and how do they get the time? I would have such a busy schedule to even do that. Imagine if you were working…there is absolutely no way you could make an excuse at work every now and then just to go out and take photos of celebrities…unless you were working for a media-related organization =P

P.S. I’m still on a hiatus!

  2. People would think I’m mad if I were to dress like that just to go to a grocery store. I don’t it’s quite practical for us ordinary people to dress like that, haha.
Just have to be presentable and clean, that’s most important, right?

Yeah. I don’t really like the idea of spending a ton of money for a celebrity.
Although I don’t have anything against those who give.
I just think that it should be spent wiser like helping the poor and needy.
But that’s what lacking in the society today.

    • True, Josialyn. It’s not practical for us. Then again, not many people really care about what we wear in comparison to what celebrities wear when they are out and about =P Except if you’re in a place like Dubai, people will observe what you wear and how you carry yourself. When you first meet them, they will literally look at you from head to toe. That’s why one has to look extra presentable over there. Here in Australia…nobody really cares =P You can go out in your PJ’s and no one would say anything xD

My dad often asks, “Why spend money on celebrities when they are already earning money?” whenever I mention that I want to go to a concert xD I’ve never really been to a concert, but my dad would let me attend one if I really wanted to. However, he does have a point.

By the way, sometimes the things Kris says reminds me of my dad. My dad always says, “I’m the boss, I decide…” LOLOLOL.

    • Thank you, Anon.! ^^

Ever since he wore blue-colored (?) contact lenses at the Korea-China Music Festival in Shanghai, I think he probably does wear normal contact lenses. If you wear contact lenses for the first time, I heard your eyes get irritated and turn a slightly red (I don’t wear contacts lenses but I’ve seen my brother and few friends wear them for the first time and it takes a little while to get used to them).

      Do you wear contact lenses?
