Tweety Bird Kris + EXO Planet + Basketball = SPACE JAM!?

I’m back with another post on KRIS! ^^’ I already broke the promise that I made for EXO‘s 100 Days of Debut so I might as well continue with the posts =P I just had to mention the following thoughts that crossed my mind.

Apart from calling Kris, “Angry Bird,” I’ve seen two or three fans call him, “Tweety Bird,” mainly because of his Tweety Bird-like lips and blondish hair color. Now that I think about it, I think Tweety Bird is a cuter nickname compared to Angry Bird xD Tweety Bird would correlate more with Kris when he is happy and smiling while Angry Bird can be used for times when he has a serious face or stern expression. A surprise for those that don’t know…Tweety Bird is actually a boy! Furthermore, he is cute and is one of my favorite Warner Bros. character! ^^ Well, I might as well make fun of myself and say that I’ve been called Bugs Bunny…just in case someone gets angry =P

Speaking of this, I remember the time when I was young and there was a dinner at my place for family-friends in which one of the guys, who used to bully a lot of people, once called me Bugs Bunny (this was before I got my braces). You know what I did? I attacked him…with a pillow! He never called me Bugs Bunny again. True story. Sometimes it’s better just to ignore. One learns this while growing up. I actually look back and laugh at the moment xD

Big Bird from Sesame Street reminds me of Kris too because they are both really tall!

Getting to the main point, I wonder if Kris has watched the movie Space Jam, starring Michael Jordan, and Warner Bros. characters like Tweety Bird and Bugs Bunny when he was young. I’m mentioning this for the reason that Kris used to play basketball back in high school, which one can see in this picture here (everyone wants to know the dude with the No. 15 jersey xD).

Interestingly, there is a song on the Space Jam soundtrack that is called “Fly like an Eagle” by Seal (he is such an awesome singer from the 90′s) and from what I remember, the second symbol for those with a Scorpio star sign is an eagle (please note that I do not believe in star signs)…and Kris can “fly” too =P

The original soundtrack for Space Jam was pretty cool! The soundtrack included R&B, hip-hop, and pop songs, which are music genres that Kris likes to listen to from what I’ve read in a translated version of a magazine that EXO-M was interviewed for. Some tracks from the Space Jam album have rap in them too xD Rap music from the 90′s was so much cleaner and meaningful compared to today’s rap music. Anyhow, one of the album’s songs called, “Winner,” by Coolio also includes the words, “leader” in its lyrics. The dance society that I’m part of listens to these kind of songs for dance battles.

I’m adding the links to some of the popular tracks here ’cause they are definitely worth listening to. The 90′s had amazing music! Some of the songs might sound cheesy, though…hahaha! I remember how everyone back in elementary school loved Space Jam and how the main theme song for the movie was a hit xD

Hahaha…the crazy things that go through my mind and how I always make connections. Sometimes I surprise myself o.O My friends used to tell me that I have a vivid imagination but, I’m starting to think whether I do have some sort of “sixth-sense.” Seriously, I wonder if Kris has watched the movie. He is from EXO PLANET aka SPACE, likes to play BASKETBALL and JAM to music…so it would make sense if he knows SPACE JAM!

Somewhere on this planet…Kris is space jamming =P

By the way, no one has come up with this Space Jam connection. Hence, if I see people mentioning this like they came up with it, then I will know, or as Kris would say, “I will not let you fans go!” Hahahaha! =P

Also, I’m happy that my friend, Josialyn, got her video selected for KRIS’ 100th Day of Debut Celebration organized by Baidu Wufan (Kris) Bar. Yayyy! I hope Kris accepts the challenge iA xD I wasn’t able to submit any video because I was too busy, but I am super duper happy that he will get to see Josialyn’s video iA. Woot!
