EXO's Fabulous Kris (featuring pre-debut pics. with EXO-M)

Everybody now behold…

Something you aint’ seen before…

Okay, many of you have probably seen this all over Tumblr already. I was present on there when these photos were being shared and let me tell you, I almost lost my sleep from laughing so much when I saw them. Rule: Do not watch or hear something funny before going to sleep =P Anyhow, all these pre-debut pics. kept rolling in on Tumblr and a few fans speculated that someone must have stolen one of the EXO-M members’ cellphone, preferably Tao‘s – the Selca King. Seeing the following pre-debut pics., I could not help but notice how normal these guys are and how they are very similar to many of the guys that I know. SM Entertainment…you really are something when it comes to transforming and marketing your artists! xD

Angry Bird Kris, as usual. Beautiful. Just beautiful =P

This is the hairstyle I had at one of my group meetings a month ago. Who knew that Kris is also fond of making his hair like this? xD A couple of fans thought he looked Japanese here. Others thought that he had a Chinese warrior look and should star in a martial arts movie with Tao in the near future. Well, I always knew that Kris had the whole warrior vibe going on in a few pre-debut pics. since months ago so I’m not really surprised. However, this pic. made me laugh very hard ’cause of his typical Angry Bird expression that…if you saw me then you would laugh too =P No doubt, he looks beautiful/handsome…all in one! I think Kris‘ eyes are his best features.

The Real Kris – a fan of pony tails

Moving on, I thought Kris‘ pre-debut hair color was always black, but I guess he dyed his hair in different colors before he became a member of EXO. His side profile in the left pic. looks like one of my friends’. On a personal note, in the student organization that I was part of in my undergrad. uni., there were 6 guys and 2 girls all together (the other girl left in the middle of the year so I was the only girl for a while until another girl joined later on). 4 out of 6 of the guys, or my fellow board members, had once kept their hair long and in a pony tail too. I could never understand their reason for keeping their hair like that =P One of them had hair just like Kris‘ in the left pic. and I had to tell him to cut it because he was going to be playing the lead role in a performance that we were organizing and he needed to fit his character’s role well. He actually listened to me, which was quite surprising, and came the next day with a haircut and a big smile saying, “Look! I cut my hair. Like it?” Hahahaha! xD All the girls around me that were part of the performance later on told me, “Thank God you were able to persuade him to cut his hair!” My word is final – I am boss. Hahaha, just kidding about being boss =P

Anyways, looking at the right-hand side pic. above, one can see posters of SNSD, BoA, f(x), and bit of Super Junior in the background. The place looks like a computer lab as I can see each desk has a telephone and perhaps a computer too. Kris seems to be concentrating on reading the magazine in his hands. He really does love to read, doesn’t he? It’s a good thing as reading helps one to become a better writer. Kris looks like he has a tan in the pic. though. From what I see, he has become so much more fair compared to before. I suppose he wasn’t practicing his 15-30 minute skincare regime at that time? xD

Looking closer at both the right and left-hand side pics. above, it seems like Kris is posing for the camera. He probably asked one of his friends (it could be an EXO-M member) to take a pic. of him like that. Kris in the left-hand side pic.: “Hey, I’m just going to stand like this and I want you take a pic. of my cool pony tail from the side.” Kris in the right-hand side pic.: “Hey, I want you to take a pic. of me sitting by the desk and reading the magazine.” xD

Now this is one pic. that really made me laugh A LOT. LuHan doesn’t have his usual angelic smile (I believe the other members of EXO-M when they mention that LuHan was really manly in his pre-debut days. I can sense it from some of the pre-debut pics. and videos) and Kris has his typical smirk (has anyone else noticed that when Kris speaks, he sometimes has that gangster smirk going on?). As for Tao…LOL. What are you doing and why are you looking at Kris in such a lovey dovey way? Tao doesn’t want fans to think that way yet he acts that way…tsk tsk tsk. Fans say that Tao must have been very happy that Kris bought him a Gucci bag. From the looks of it, Tao seems to be a fan boy of Kris =P Additionally, Kris is sporting his black hair, which everyone seems to love, and is wearing his signature denim jacket (I want to see him with black hair again…not this orange-blonde Kurosaki Ichigo, who is a character from the anime Bleach, hair color that he currently has).

An amusing picture that I saw on Tumblr and immediately agreed to, as I thought of this before, was the similarity between the pic. of Tao and Kris and the pic.of Nanba Senpai and Senri Nakao, who are characters from the Japanese drama, Hana Kimi. Of course, EXO fans know that Kris is going to be starring in the Korean version of the drama called, To the Beautiful You, soon so it’s quite interesting to see this similarity.

It should be noted that Nanba Senpai is the leader of Dorm 1 (he was one of my favorite characters as well, but it was much later on in the drama when we got to see a more positive image of him) and Nakao happens to be in the same dorm as him too. Additionally, in the drama, Nakao is known to be the “cutest” guy in the entire boarding school. Can we say that he has aegyo like Tao? xD This is similar to how Kris is the leader of EXO-M and how Tao looks up to him and mentions that he would like to be as handsome as Kris‘ at the age of 21 and how he gets his wish or whatever he wants by acting cute in front of him. Despite the similarity here, Kris is going to be cast as another character in the drama.

Lay, Tao, Kris, and LuHan – the FOUR Chinese members of EXO-M or the Chinese F4 xD

All four look cute and young here. Kris and LuHan look similar and Lay kind of looks like Super Junior‘s Lee Donghae. I like Lay‘s hairstyle here. I know that I have probably mentioned this before, but Lay has always appeared as a gentle and pleasant person in all of his photos. He genuinely seems like a nice person. Tao looks very young in this pic. – like the real maknae of the group. Kris reminds me of someone but I can’t figure out who right now. LuHan looks like he stepped right out of an anime or manga.

I laughed a lot while looking at this pic. too and I’m sure that I’m not the only one that did. Tao and Kris…NO COMMENT. Well, seriously…what is going on here? Hahaha! Look at the tight pants Kris is wearing xD I thought he was the manly type in his pre-debut days. It’s interesting how we get to see Kris wearing pants with a belt and a tucked-in shirt, similar to what we see in the pic., while EXO-M was traveling to Beijing just hours after this photo had been revealed o_O Were these photos planned to be leaked online just to keep people interested as there was not much going on in EXO‘s schedule yesterday? Anyhow, LuHan looks more like the cool dude here.

I’ve already posted this pre-debut pic. of Tao and Kris before, but this time I combined it with LuHan‘s pre-debut pic. I just wanted to point out that Kris and LuHan look like anime/manga characters here xD They both look beautiful =P

Kris, the king, and LuHan, the prince, of EXO-M

Kris: Fine…then I’m the cute king! (Kris has stated in a magazine interview that he either wants to be the king or prince if EXO-M were to live in a castle. Since LuHan is considered the prince, then Kris must be the king. After all, he is the leader of EXO-M =P)

They could of landed a role as Prince Caspian from the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian with the above hairstyle:

Bwaahahahaha! By the way, Ben Barnes used to be one of my favorite actors before I got into East Asian entertainment =P Anyways…

All of the members of EXO love posing in front of a mirror with a camera. It’s kind of funny. Well, they don’t have to do that anymore now that everyone takes awesome professional photos of them wherever they are. Nevertheless, I have a feeling that when they stay at hotels in different cities or countries, they pose in their rooms and take pictures of one another. I can guarantee that Tao does this and probably drags Kris along to a take a pic. too as they both room together at hotels. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Seeing EXO‘s pre-debut photos makes me want to put up my selcas and mirror pictures. They are my inspiration xD

Overall, Kris seems like a dorky person. Not to mention, he looks kind of innocent in these pre-debut pics. But now…

Having seen several pre-debut pics. of Kris, it is evident that a change in hairstyle can make a huge difference in one’s appearance, especially Kris‘. He looks like a different person in each type of hairstyle he has. Very dynamic look I must say. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kris is like the character in the above gif. Remember, Kris‘ talent is the catwalk. I noticed a bit of his catwalk in EXO-M‘s “History” MV at 1:13-1:15 and this was when the MV had been released =P What can I say? FABULOUS Kris! xD

On the other hand, I want to share something interesting. About two weeks back I went for a haircut and the person that had been initially assigned to cut my hair…guess what his name was? Kris! =P He was a top stylist at the hairdressers, but I wanted a lady to cut my hair so I asked if I could be assigned another person, but that person turned out to be a dude too. I saw the top stylist, Kris, at the hairdressers and he was Asian, tall, and looked sophisticated. I just found the incident funny since I made an appointment through the phone and told the receptionist that I wanted a top stylist to cut my hair. The receptionist said, “We have Kris!” I replied, “……Alright, Kris it is then!” xD Then I remembered, “Wait…what if this Kris is a guy? I think I would be much more comfortable if a lady cut my hair.” That is when I called the hairdressers again and the receptionist told me that the other top stylist that was available was a lady, which wasn’t true -_- I guess there was a misunderstanding. I still like my haircut, though!

Well, I don’t want to be a FAN of EXO anymore, I want to be their FRAAAAND! Hahahaha! I hope you all enjoyed this post ’cause I know some people get a bit impatient when I don’t post anything on Kris =P Enjoy it while it lasts, my FABULOUS friends!
