EXO celebrating 100 days of debut
100 days of debut with EXO…all I can say is that it feels much longer. Maybe I feel this way for the reason that I’ve been anticipating their debut since their teaser promotion days or when I first heard about them as M1 and M2 last year. Nevertheless, there was a certain magical feel during their teaser promotion days. I felt like I could relate to the concept that SM Entertainment was aiming at with this group, which they apparently did a pretty good job at. Furthermore, I felt excited, slightly impatient, and at the same time nervous about whether EXO‘s debut would be as phenomenal as portrayed by the number of teasers they had. I am sure that the members of EXO must have felt the same way as well. I could picture myself in their position and imagine the amount of pressure from everyone’s expectations. This made me very concerned about them, but I had faith that they would do a wonderful job.
Despite the numerous teasers that EXO had, I decided to stick around and see more of them. I can’t believe that I even sent in my questions for their showcase. I never realized that I would be doing something like this for a K-Pop group – EVER! I learned from the experience, though, and was able to better understand SM Entertainment’s public relations methods and where they needed improvement =P
EXO worked very hard preparing for their debut and I was thrilled to hear the number of interviews that were lined up for them immediately after their big day, so that the audience can learn about them. It’s like watching them grow from a rookie group into an experienced group that is constantly trying to learn from their mistakes and do their best for following performances and appearances. EXO is also the first K-Pop group that I have had the opportunity to become a fan of from the beginning. This is the only group, whose album I was willing to purchase (both the EXO-K and EXO-M mini-album) to show my support.

My EXO-K and EXO-M 1st Mini-Album
I know that I may have stated that Kris and his mysteriousness is the reason that I’m a big fan of EXO somewhere on my blog, but the truth is that I really like all of the members. All of the members are unique and have their own individual talent and charm. Here are some of the words that I have for each member:

EXO-K

- SeHun: I really liked him the most out of EXO-K during their teaser promotions. He seems rather shy, which can be mistaken for giving off a cold vibe at times too. Sometimes he looks grumpy. He is a good dancer. I think of him as a younger brother. Please continue being cute ^^
- Kai: He may appear cold at times, but I feel like he is just super tired on many occasions. I think he is a sweet person. What kind of cold person would carry around a pink suitcase with polka dots anyways? (I have a feeling he was trolling on us, though =P). His dancing skills are amazing…This guy has a lot of talent. Keep up the good work! One of my good friends, EJ, is a fan of him and Taemin.
- D.O.: His seriousness makes me laugh sometimes, maybe ’cause his eyes become really wide on random occasions. He has an awesome voice and appears to have a hyper side. Wish I could learn more about him in the future. One thing I know is that this guy is full of talent! Please show us more of your special talents, D.O.! ^^
- Chanyeol: Mr. Teeth Rich. with an awesome personality! There is no doubt that this guy is a people-person. He would be great at business, especially marketing…trust me! If he ever wants to do something else in life, he should definitely take up business. I think he is quite a smart and witty person. This Happy Virus also has a lot of talent. I believe he is musically gifted to be able to play musical instruments and deliver a phenomenal performance with his rapping. I heard that he is a fan of Muse. I think we might have the same taste in music bands. You, sir…are definitely on my favorite people list (even though I don’t have one)! xD I feel like out of all the members in EXO, I would really get along well with Chanyeol if I ever met him. Keep on smiling, as always!
- Baekhyun: He always has a bright and sweet smile on his face that can lighten up other people’s moods with ~ too cute! He has a good sense of humor as well, which I was able to witness when I saw EXO‘s showcase. Also, how can we forget his voice? He has an AWESOME voice! True talent, indeed. My really close friends like him a lot too. You are awesome, Baekhyun…continue being the bright and funny person that you are! ^^
- SuHo: He really looks like a sweet guardian angel xD I think he is a good leader, even though some of his members are disobedient at times. He seems to be great with sweet and caring words. I like his smile. Please continue being the humble person that you are, SuHo.

- Tao: I find this Kungfu Panda really interesting. I had expected him to be tough and cold, but he turned out to be a sensitive, Gucci-loving, cake-loving, romantic drama-loving, soft-spoken, and blunt person. Not to mention, he has aegyo. I love how blunt and direct he is. I feel like you can trust him with some of the things that he mentions in interviews. He makes me laugh a lot too, but at the same time one can’t help but feel quite concerned (I’ve read his Weibo updates from his pre-debut days that fans have saved). Tao, NEVR EVER feel like nobody cares about you ’cause we all do! ^^
- Chen: He is naturally funny with some of his actions and I like how he is always paying attention to his surroundings at fan meetings, which is evident when he waves and smiles at everyone in every direction. His voice is phenomenal…a real asset for SME. He seemed like the studious type in his pre-debut days…I like! I believe that he will become excellent in learning Mandarin and will be the Dancing Machine he wishes to be in the near future. Chen Chen…hwaiting!!!
- Lay: My second bias. So hardworking and dedicated. His perseverance has really helped him to become the amazing dancer that he is today. I find him quite inspiring. He also appears to be very gentle and sometimes a bit fragile. He is quite funny. I like his dimples ^^’ Don’t push yourself too hard! Lay, Fighting!
- LuHan: He seemed like a badass in his pre-debut days, but now he has a very angelic appearance. He may be called the triple threat: good dancing, good singing, and good looks. One cannot help but be awed by the amount of cuteness that oozes out of him. I love it when he smiles. I feel like I would get along with him if I ever met him too. Please continue smiling and please take care of your health, LuLu. ^^
- XiuMin: He truly is Bao Zi! He seems to be quite a humble person and doesn’t seem like the eldest member of EXO AT ALL! His cheeks are very prominent and cute. Bao Zi is a good dancer and I like the fact that he keeps things neat and organized, which is quite rare for guys to do. I like his simplicity too! Continue being the humble person that you are, Bao Zi! ^^
- Kris: He is a charismatic leader but can be a complete goofball too. I like teasing this Angry Bird. I like him. Keep smiling, Kris ^^ (I’ve already written a whole post about my thoughts on Kris: Dui Zhang Kris – From EXO’s Showcase Days to 3 Months of Debut)
I do admit that, even though I’ve been a fan of K-Pop groups under SM Entertainment (SME) for almost three years now, it was because of Kris that I started paying a keen interest in the company as a whole and how the company’s training process is like. I wanted to know how he must have felt being a foreigner joining SME and how he was able to adjust (I’m guessing that there must have been four other people with him from Vancouver that ended up being trainees under SME when he joined. Isn’t that how it’s like…5 people are usually chosen to be trainees through the Global Auditions from a particular city? One can probably tell that I’ve actually done quite a bit of research on SME’s auditions =P). It’s the fact that I never knew that people like him or the other EXO members even existed in the company while I was a fan of SME’s other groups, that really alarms me. SME is so secretive! Moreover, there were notices about the Korean members of EXO and Lay when they were trainees, but there was never anything about Kris while he was in SME for FOUR whole years! I guess this is what makes him mysterious.
I bet Kris oppa finds me annoying for making posts on him *makes a sad face* Hahahaha =P Just kidding! ^^’ Well, I will not annoy Kris anymore. Sometimes I imagine an Angry Bird expression on his face, if he has read some of my posts. Imagine if I had written a post with the title, “[Official Site Update] All EXO Members Mention That They Love Their Fans…Except Kris; He Likes Them” =P I’ve made a promise to myself…this 100 days of debut with EXO apparently marks the end of my posts on him but definitely not my continuing support and interest for EXO as a whole. I know that some of my readers might be sad about this, but I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. I may not intentionally do that, but you never know how a person might feel on the other end while reading things that we may apparently take as a joke. God knows, he probably gets a good laugh and kick out of it as well. However, I will continue to write posts on EXO/EXO-M and MAYBE a post on Kris once in a blue moon (this is only if I find something interesting as I could probably write a thousand posts on him if I had wanted to ’cause everything he does amuses me. As you know, there’s a limit to everything), so don’t worry! ^^’

Amusing Kris xD

On a random note, I saw a dragon mascot today that was accompanied by a dude carrying a box of KRISpy Kreme donuts near a stall for the basketball club, which was also next to the stall for the dance club that I am part of. Strange much? Reminded me of Kris! I even took a picture with the dragon and could not stop laughing! I kept saying, “Look at that dragon!” My friends thought I was just laughing at how funny the dragon looked. Little did they know that I was laughing because it reminded me of Kris xD
Anyhow, I’m not going to say anything too cheesy, because I’m not good with cheesy words…but EXO is the reason other guys tease me, but at the same time have taken the opportunity to realize that they are a pretty cool group xD I really wish EXO all the best for their future. I will be keeping an eye on them. It has been a joy to be supporting them from their teaser days and if it’s one thing that I have learned from them, is that it is sometimes good to be mysterious. I do pray that they all lead a righteous path. As I have mentioned ages ago, there is more to life than just entertainment. As much as I love the fact they are working hard in order to earn a living, I want them to be happy and content with what they are doing, and although, we fans may be important to them, they should also be aware that God comes first. We all must put our effort into devoting our time in praying to God and doing deeds that would help us get to the hereafter iA.

Apart from this, I enjoyed reading the lovely and heart-touching messages that the EXO members have left for us on their official site. Tao‘s message was a very touching and poetic message ^^ Then there was Kris‘ message stating, “Always having you beside us, which is why I feel blessed, I really like seeing all of you.” All of the EXO members love us but Kris only LIKES us…*cries* The first part of the message was good, but the second part – not good! I’m sorry, Kris. I like you, but sometimes you’re just plain silly! This is a very lazy way of communicating with fans…tsk tsk tsk. Who is EXO‘s PR person? He/she needs to have a word with Kris. Manager Kyun, please punish Kris for this! A few months back he did not hesitate to say, “I LOVE YOU,” to everyone on EXO-M‘s fan board and now he only mentions that he “likes us.” What is this!? xD
Also, what is this that I hear of Kris doing aegyo at the 100 Days of Debut celebration and him saying that he will not let fans off if he sees things about it on the Internet? Will he send Tao to do wushu? Everyone knows that you did aegyo, Kris!!! =P Wish there was a video of it so we could see xD
This post has turned out rather long, but at least my message is longer than Kris‘ short and not-so-deep message for his fans. Hahaha! Why is he so lazy!? Kris, I dare you to say, “wo ai ni,” and “saranghae,” to your fans =) If you don’t, then I’ll continue to say that I only “like” you =P
As for all of EXO —–> <3 EXO fighting!!! ^^
