Yes, this is the day that many fans had been waiting for. In Kris’ words:

Did you notice? It was EXO’s showcase! In another person’s words, who is Chinese and said this to me, “In a few years…you will look back and see how silly you were to like them and spend your money on them. You would even wonder how and why you liked them…just a few more years…Their company just wants to target the girls to get money…” *buries his head in his hands and sighs* Kekekeke! Not only do Pakistani guys get highly annoyed by me talking about EXO, but even the Chinese guys do too. Sorry, Kris! =P

I will probably update this post later on. Have to sleep but I will add new info. to this iA. Kind of hard to handle so many things at the same time =P I’m supposed to be uploading photos of my friends and I on Facebook but instead, I choose to upload pics. of EXO. I’m quite a busy person too…

Quick Update

So many assignments and group meetings. I’m very tired – only had two hours of sleep last night. Drank coffee and tea to keep me awake but soon I have a three hour lecture that I have to attend iA. I feel like sleeping =P

Oh, EXO’s showcase is drawing near. SM Entertainment really does plan to make an explosion or grand entrance with this group. After having seen pictures of their full-scale advertisements around Beijing, it appears that they plan to enter the Chinese music market quite aggressively.

It seems as though I will most likely fall asleep after my lecture iA. Tomorrow I have another assignment to work on. All of my group members are Chinese so I’m not really lacking an environment with many Asians xD However, I will be the one leading the presentation next week iA. Apparently, none of them know about EXO and I’ve been informing them about the group for quite a while now. In fact one of my members is from the same city as Tao. I like how calm and passive they are about the whole group…like it’s not really a big deal. Sometimes I want to be like that…you know, pretty chill about the whole idea of a new group making a debut.

Anyhow, need to go and pray now.

EXO Planet Meets Planet Earth: Showcase Promotion Clip

EXO have finally landed on Planet Earth!

I found this promotional clip for EXO‘s showcase highly amusing. First of all, the music sounds like it’s a mix of Final Fantasy and Star Wars. Secondly, there was a small spelling mistake in the promotion clip so SM had to make the video private and upload a new edited version last night. It’s okay, mistakes happen. No one is perfect. I just found it very funny. I was expecting the members of EXO to speak in this clip. Oh, well…guess SM wants us to really look forward to seeing more of them.  They really like to tease fans, don’t they?

EXO‘s showcase will be held on the 31st of March in Seoul, South Korea and on the 1st of April in Beijing, China.

EXO Set to Hold a Showcase in both Korea and China…AND Debut!

I think the whole world knows that I’ve become a big fan of them now and that Kris is my ultimate bias xD From family members to relatives to friends and even some people that I have met for the first time…they all know that I’m a fan of EXO. I secretly hope that the three people from Korea that have been viewing my blog today are the EXO members themselves, iA xD

This is the first time that I am actually following a group from the beginning and I am sure that  it’s the same for many others. Also, hooray for the 100-day anniversary for EXO‘s first teaser!

SM’s New Groups, EXO-K and EXO-M, to Hold a Showcase in both Korea and China! 

SM’s new groups, EXO-K and EXO-M, will hold a grand-scaled showcase in both Korea and China.

EXO-K and EXO-M will release the video of showcase through the official website, YouTube channel, facebook, NAVER and China’s WEIBO, SINA, SOHU and YOUKU and announce the information about the showcase which will be held on March 31st in Korea and April 1st in China.

EXO’s Korean showcase will be held at the Olympic Hall of the Olympic Park in Seoul on March 31st at 5 p.m. and their Chinese showcase will be held at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing on April 1st at 4:30 p.m.

Especially, March 31st is their 100th-day anniversary since they released the first teaser video on December 23rd, 2011. After they released teaser videos and prologue singles for 100 days, they received about 30,000,000 views in total on YouTube and YOUKU.

Also, since EXO-K and EXO-M will meet the public for the first time prior to their album release in April, the two teams will present great performances.

Moreover, people can apply to attend the Korean showcase on EXO’s official website (http://exo-k.smtown.com, http://exo-m.smtown.com) until March 28th and free tickets for the showcase will be provided to selected people in random drawings.

Meanwhile, EXO-K and EXO-M will make a debut on the same day and time with the same song in Korea and China. EXO-K is comprised of SU HO, KAI, CHAN YEOL, SE HUN, BAEK HYUN and D.O. and EXO-M is made of KRIS, LU HAN, TAO, LAY, XIU MIN and CHEN.

They should have come to my business school in the Middle East =P Well, it doesn’t really matter anymore as I have already graduated from there.

My question for Kris: Who is your ideal type?

I wonder what his answer will be. If he is diplomatic or a smart aleck, I’m sure he will say, “my fans.” xD SO typical. I’ll try and find a better question to ask, iA.

Since I have absolutely no idea in which direction my life is heading (and you know, anything could happen in life…and a few years back I thought I would have done many great things by now =P), I thought this was a bit of comfort to read.

EXO’s Kris Can Smile

For some reason, I have been a very pleasant mood today, mashAllah. I don’t know why.

I saw Kris‘ new pre-debut pic. last night on Tumblr. I was working on my assignment and waiting for SHINee’s new music video to be released. It was a bit disappointing to not see SM upload SHINee’s new MV on time, so I decided to search for something related to EXO on Tumblr. To my surprise, the first picture that popped up on my dashboard is of Kris smiling! Yes, you heard it…Kris smiling! I thought, “IS THIS FOR REAL!?” (If you haven’t read my main post on Kris, be sure to check it out here! It’s one of the most popular posts on my blog). He may not have the most bright smile in the following pic. but I felt really happy after seeing it and was able to sleep peacefully.

Here is Kris‘ new pre-debut pic. This was probably taken back in 2006 when he was 15 years old. I’m guessing that he was in Canada at this time because the carpet, doors, switch, and style of the house (is it just me that is also observing the reflection on the TV screen? =P) seem like it belongs to a typical Western house. His hairstyle is funny but I suppose that was “in” back in the days, considering the fact that the members of Super Junior and DBSK had a similar hairstyle. Nevertheless, his face is still the same! For some reason, I feel that these pre-debut pics. that emerge all of a sudden are part of the marketing strategy for promoting a group’s member. How come they are revealed one after the other before a group has even made their debut? Why are they not revealed all together? o.O I can understand if it’s a member revealing the photos from time to time on his/her social networking account, but it seems like this act could be part of a good strategy to keep fans in a state of anticipation where they want to find out more information.

Hahaha! Not exactly the best picture but one can tell that Kris still looks young. Although I am older than him by about a year, I still look younger than him xD

Anyhow, it’s funny how a person’s smile can really uplift someone’s mood. Smiles are, indeed, powerful. Imagine having a terrible day and you’re walking back from work after dealing with stress. All of a sudden you see a person walking by give a warm smile. Most often, the smile is contagious and you feel good. Moreover, the rest of the day doesn’t feel so terrible anymore. Not only does a smile make one attractive and have positive effects on the immune system, but it is also considered an act of charity. No wonder why smiles are considered a sunnah in Islam.

This reminds me of what happened two weeks ago. I was sitting down with my father and trying to fill out a form at the mall. It was nothing interesting but all of a sudden, I felt a light pat on my lap and I looked up to see a young boy, who was about 3 years old with brown hair and shiny eyes, give me the brightest and warmest smiles ever. He just randomly decided to come up to me, give me a pat on the lap with his small hand, and smile. He was so cute, mashAllah! It really brightened up my day and I didn’t feel so annoyed about having to fill out the form anymore. Smiley children tend to uplift my mood in general ^^

I have noticed that my blog is turning to an information spot on Kris rather than myself or my deep interests. Considering the fact that Kris is “already out there” I guess netizens find him more interesting. But to tell you the truth, on Facebook…it’s the opposite! That’s where individuals are more interested in people they “personally” know rather than celebrities =P

Now, I shall take my afternoon nap so I can feel fresh and ready to complete my assignments, iA!

The Day I See EXO’s Kris Do Aegyo…

The day I see EXO‘s Kris do aegyo (a Korean term for acting cute…most often deliberately and in an exaggerated manner. Sometimes includes puffing up your cheeks like Jigglypuff) is the day I will roll on the ground like a buffalo and laugh! xD

I mean, imagine him doing this (The person in the video is Sunny, the Aegyo Queen of SM Entertainment. My friends say that I remind them of her because of our somewhat similar appearance, except for the eyes and nose o.O)

Kris and aegyo…two things that do not seem to fit, but it would be an epic moment! xD

On the other hand, a fan had spotted Kris wearing black-rimmed glasses outside of SM’s building. Upon hearing this, fans immediately set out to visualize what Kris might have looked like by editing some of his photos. Great, EXO EXO…gossip girl, is it? xD
